Always add a subwoofer, your missing a big part of the music without one ... REL I’ll be using the ii’s as a sound bar and living room system, full streaming, HDMI control. Add a sub, it’s a clean minimalist solution.
Hi plz plz plz plz help me to choose between ls50 wireless 2 or kef3 I am very confused. My room is 15×15 and which one is better .for me i am happy with 50hz in bass department .which one you choose between to in 15 x15 room kef ls50 wireless or R3 with extrnal amp.i only want gud sound quality nothing else.plz plz plz answer
Personally I will choose R3 instead of wireless 2, because with R3 u will have room to play around gear matching to find the best sound that u like, with wireless2, it’s simple plug and play, if u just want a simple stereo system with accurate studio like sound, then go with wireless 2, But if u think the accurate studio sound might somehow too boring for you, and u like to play around with gears, and in the future u can always upgrade from 2.0 to 5.1 or more for use of home Theater system, then go with R3 or ls50 meta (passive version)
@@NaveenKumar-uh2gk it’s really hard for me to choose between these 2, I was having hard time to choose between these two, and at the end I bought both of them( not the newer meta tho) just the regular ls50. In my opinion the ls50 give u bigger sound stage, and the R3 give you more complete sound and more bass. Hopefully that helps for your decision
Excellent review . I have a question are you running them to your PC through optical or through your jds labs element? I have the LSX and im running them through the element II through RCA and to me it sounds better than the optical cable also im using AudioQuest high quality cables Thank you and i look forward to your future videos. Also maybe you can review the buchardt A500 ?
I was running them directly from pc to ls50 wireless through optical, didn’t use the element 2, I would agree the setup that you running is better than optical cable from pc, cause I had the same setup before. The Buchardt A500 is under my review list, hopefully I can get my hands on that Thanks for watching my video
I have the LS50W and it is well known that they sound best through RCA than through optical or USB (btw, just found out in this review that they took out the USB input on the gen 2, why on earth they did that????). I did all kinds of tests when I bought them and it was very clear to me that RCA was the best out of the three. Afterward, out of curiosity, I looked up in the forums and everyone seemed to reach the same conclusion. Weird given the internal DAC, but it is what it is. I freaking love them, btw. Use them for stereo music listening.
