Hi! How can we know how much slat and water we need for the targeted relative humidity? For instance, Mg(NO3)2 can produce 53% of RH at 20 degrees Celsius. I do not know how much magnesium nitrate I need to dissolve in how much water to get the mentioned RH.

The salt solution needs to be saturated. I keep adding salt until there's a small amount of solid salt at the bottom of the mixture that refuses to dissolve, then give time for the air above the mixture to equilibrate in the sealed container with the sensor.
