In idaho you can trap them all year. Not that you would want to. They may be rare for people to see but there is a lot of them out there. On the other hand Wolverines just went on the federal endangered species list which is going to lead to multiple lawsuits from multiple states. Not that people try to trap them but that it will hinder certain processes of trapping and hunting for people.
Thank goodness for there being "limitations" to this "practice." 🤨 Sorry, mate, but, "Trapping" animals is cruel and unnecessary unless you LIVE in the woods and are solely dependent on consuming them for food. 👎🤨
@@TheMid-KnightRider I would suggest trappers are one of the biggest proponents of the preservation of the wildlife. We know most things about the animals how they live where they live what they do and how to protect the resorse for the generations to come. Trappers want to take care of the wildlife probably more then most people. trapping also has its place in the manigment of predators so that our turky quail elk and dear thrive. It all has a purpose.
I am in idaho I'm not sure in Iowa. But i know i would never hit the limit. Dont quote me but I dont believe there is a limit in idaho where I am. But now that you said something am sure to check.
Poor guy went through all that trouble to try and free himself, only to be shot in the head. Makes me so proud to be a human. Honey badgers are highly intelligent creatures, they deserve our respect and admiration. Not a bullet in the head.
Seriously. This guy thinks he all tough trapping an animal and then shooting it in the head. At least hunt like a real man. Trapping is for pathetic losers
i absolutley agree , this guy is without compassion! the animals live outside it is their home , you do not have the right to do this! go in your house if you can't handle nature!
@@Deborahj1962 he's a pos, that's what's up. Anyone with a heart could see how much that badger valued his life. Look how hard he tried to get free. I can understand trapping rabbits for food because they are prey animals. A badger is a highly intelligent predator and deserves respect.
Glad to see you have a wife like mine. Not all trappers are that lucky. She deserves a dinner out. Many nights I've come home 10 or 12 at night from checking traps. I did have a beaver blanket made for.my wife and a coyote parka.
Reach in and pet him a little....😂
Honey badger just don't care
you shot him in the head with a trap on his foot...oh my god how cruel..
I wish I could see a badger. I thought they were becoming rare. It’s sad he had to die.

Take no notice of the snowflakes, you did nothing illegal, can they honestly say they keep within the law as you do. Take care, Norfolk, UK Ray
Is it legal to trap/keep it?
I hope not because he just took crime footage and posted it if it was!!
Depends on what state and what time of year. Trapping has lighter laws than standard hunting
That woman is a jewel !! Love seeing your family on here.

Cool catch. Nice Badger

Lol how tf do you think you are going to free that badger without it mauling the shit out of you? Stay in the city man you would get hurt in the wild.
Totally agree, mate. Definitely NOT one of the "humans" best traits. 🤨
