South Idaho man here, i will say that the transparency you show tells us it is because you enjoy it. keep doing that and it will naturally draw in curious minds to watch! also subbed for support .
What do they do with those skulls? I also wouldn’t really have it in me to hunt a wolf and sell it at a fur zine. That’s just my only bug. I’m not gatekeeping them, it’s just something that doesn’t set well with me. Unless they’re an accidental catch or the hunters really need money I’m okay as long as it’s limited.
I am not sure it is a auction system. I believe there were 8 to 10 buyers I'm not sure if they then sell to someone els. But there are separate people buying.
Trapping is torture for these beautiful creatures . In a world where all these pelts can be made from other sources, why are you still supporting a barbarous act ?
I do this to show my children how things used to be done. I tan some of my own hides to show them you dont have to use the system for anything. We can provide for ourselves if needed. Also I would suggest what is more torture is these predators killing the fawns of this spring with nothing but there teeth. Or getting so over populated that they begin to get Diseases and diy that way. Without going into depth of conservation. All this fur is greatly respected by the people who harvested it, I would suggest the people who are trapping and hunting these animals care more for the animals then 99% of the population!
@@michaelcafferty1547 Get real. Teach them from books. Not from an animal once alive. And only wanting to live a decent life. Gross. Cavemen wore fur. We now have other sources.
Fur is a renewable resource why wear clothes made from oil which everyone is trying to get away from by going electric how is using a renewable resource sad they are over populated and putting a hurting on prey species causing the other wild life to be affected when there is to many and they can end up starving
allot of trapping now a days keeps predator populations in check. and things like beavers/muskrats cause property damage when they move into rural areas.
Great job my friend! You did great!! Thank you for sharing and Good luck with everything!

Yes that is for the north idaho cats. I'm sure the cats from other areas went for different.

Nice who are the main buyers? Is there a main wholesale buyer where most of this stuff goes to

I'm sure the same buyers come every year and I will get to know them as years go on.
That's awesome not just one monopoly buyer good

Gross. Cavemen wore fur. We now have other sources.
Like the other sources have no impact on the animals and environment around us? Get real and get outside, you don't learn that from a book.
You live in a fairytale, thinking the resources you use have no impact on animals or the environment
SHAME.
Barbarians wore fur.
Were losing wildlife and dont care.
Sad. When will we become civilized?

It's amazing how nature took care of itself without man.
Appears mankind unbalances things.
@@equine2020 creatures went extinct before mans arrival too. very balanced.
