You have to appreciate how the wall between the shop and the kitchen separates seemingly two different worlds. No one in the shop knows what's goin on in the kitchen and vice versa.

I have to appreciate the fact that the two different sets for the show do what they're meant to do? What an odd thing to highlight for consideration 🤔
If they _didn't_ behave this way, there would be no need to have two in the first place.
This is one of the episodes where you can see the kitchen from the front shop clearly too

I know right!? For years and years I recite those lines .. so hard to get the nuance of how Dylan/Bernard swerves back to “and DIVES back to grooming his balls” .. Dylan Moran = Freaking genius talent 🙌🤩

They weren't actually married he had cancer or something and he drove off on his bike while she ended up w Guy
@@samiramasudi6459 apparently there is a christmas episode that wraps up the series. Guy tells Caroline to marry him instead after learning about his sickness and mac and caroline get married. sue white is madly in love with some other guy and i have no idea about martin or joanna or Alan characters.
Graham Linehan co-wrote and directed the first season. As much as I love Dylan Moran, Linehan’s absence really shows in seasons 2 and 3. I think they should have called it after 12 episodes at the latest. The old Fawlty Towers rule. Especially since Bernard owes a lot to Basil anyway, in his utter disdain for the customer.
I was trying to put my finger on it, it became a lot more 'bland and sitcom-y' once he left and lost a lot of his punchy humor and timing.
The writing for Manny also takes quite a nosedive and he becomes more a vehicle for slapstick and a brown-noser, an innocent childlike character when he was initially more of a well-meaning hard worker and a foil to Bernard's laziness and filthiness
I think the Manny's Parents episode might be one of the worst in the series just because of how formulaic it is for a sitcom
@@PrismTheKid Yeah, I'd noticed that too. All the other characters act like Manny's parents were horrible eldritch harpies. Were they? Really? They just seemed a bit eccentric to me.

Hamburger fried with Paprika, garlic , spices . Black olives , Jalopenos , Green onion, purple onion, Cheddar cheese , sour creme , tomato ,avacado , small tortilla chips ,IPA BEER .and best of all . Jealous neighbor , knowing I made a shwack , and he don't get more than a sniff . He mooches weed , where as I have a snatchload of it .

Seasons 1 and 2 were hilarious. Sadly in 3 they changed the characters to make them more extreme and less likeable. Should've stopped after 2 series - I don't know if the writers were different or something but Fran and Manny at each other's throats, Bernard being a cold killer, and everyone being weak and giggly was not how they were best portrayed.
Ploppy Ploppy Co writers were different.
Yup 💯. Third season is not good. It's like everyone had to quit meth cold turkey and now stuff is agitated and shallow
