@@plutospearls When he plays the whole pattern, the ride triplets are not played on the 1st beat of each bar after bar 1 (ie when the snare hits play) if you see what I mean! I'm no drummer or teacher, but I think this would have been much easier to understand (and practice) if the snare hits were explained straight after the basic ride pattern was explained at 1:50 , before the triplets or hi-hat parts were explained.
