Yes this is definitely reminiscent of Morbid Angel!! In a very straight up , in your face, brutally killer way! Brings me back to the Fl.Death Metal era!! Love the hints of prog thrown in....early stuff, no? Mr. Grossman makes it look soo effortless , as he rips through a great tune. Just another day at the office for this mountain of a drummer. Endless possibilities for a musician with this much talent!!

I consider our Earth as a part of the lowest area
We live as we were at the bottom of the sea
Where nothing is pure and undespoiled
Where everything is eaten and eroded
Where the grips of externality is unable freely
To emerge beyond a certain space of this one
Where nothing is pure and undespoiled
Where everything is wet and salt
    Where earth and spirit unite
    An opposition to the visible
A call of the purified souls
    Emerges beyond, breaks free
    Deliverance - an acroamatic halo
    Deprivation - in particular obedience
Eclipsed - shackled and torn apart
Emptiness - devoid of heart and soul

As much as I love this song the best part of this video is the isolated calm guitar layer from Velocity's crushing main riff in the beginning haha

You dont have to use those methods in order to double bass fast. I dont understand how the heel up method is crazy
