On drop rate is a series about obtaining a specific unique item from any source in old school runescape, but I can only attempt said activity as many times as the items exact drop rate.
For the longest time, the barrows brothers has been the go to for mid level combat gear, but with the moons of peril release, that is not longer the best method of getting gear.
This video I am hunting down up to 224 KC of the lunar chest, in hopes of looting the Dual macuahuitl.

Speaking of it being barrows 2 the Guthan's set works great for them since it has all 3 melee styles and a healing effect.
You dont have to kill all 3 to open the chest - the guy on rank 1 in the high score probably only killed one boss ond opens the chest for the kc :)

I started using this a few months ago and I don't think I could play without it. It's so good.
True tile indicator makes my corrupted gauntlet grind so much better.

for the highscore you could kill 1 of the moons then loot the chest for way more kills per hour
Do you play with 117 on? I just noticed your boss rooms look different than mine i dont see the moon phases on my game i use 117hd. Wondering why its different
You either have low detail plug-in enabled or you might want to “reset default” on your 117 or whatever graphic plug-in you’re using, hope I helped
I didnt get my first item till kc 99 and it was the melee weapon which was the only item i wanted so that was nice but i was so pissed X D

On the eclipse moon you have to run, mark the corners of the shield. When the shield begins moving then you click to the other side. You WILL shield all dmg.

Isn't the drop order for these preferential to dropping weapons 2nd? You used the rate for 4 items, but its expected (we don't know exact weight) to be the 2nd item.
Moons of Peril would've replaced Barrows if it wasn't so goddamn expensive to recharge the pieces
It did replace. Blood moon armor pretty like Bandos lite
I wanna say rank 1 for MoP probably hasn’t done every single kc with killing all 3 bosses since you can technically just kill 1 and loot. Though I could be 100% wrong and maybe kc doesn’t count if you only do 1
melee weapons are favoured over other drops as the first drops.

For the eclipse moon shield, just stand one tile past/behind the shield (on the two prongs on the floor) and start running to the next spot (again, two prongs on the floor) one tick after the shield starts moving.
MrNoSleep showed the strategy in his perilous moons video.
With his level of damage you can also just skip it. Look into the room, wait until the orb becomes visible, count to 10, enter. Usually puts you in the room the exact time that special attack ends.

This drop rate video doesn’t seem correct, since there’s a preference to roll in the order helm -> weapon -> chest -> legs. A better drop rate for the weapon would probably be two blood moon rolls, so 1/56 + 1/56 ~ 1/112, or just going for the tassets.

Blood moon feels like impossible for a med-level to solo. The rest is no problem.
elder maul replaces dwh which is why its so expensive now it is an all around better dwh i think even the spec is more
it doesn't replace dwh because dwh is a 1h weapon, but it def gonna be used more now xD
I got to 50kc w no drops and said f this and quit. Ain't been back since
they must have nerfed the loot hard, currently doing runs and after 100 openings after killing all 3 bosses, i come down to about 50k per chest, it does not feel worth spending the time in it.
I believe you can get kc from the Moons of Peril by just killing one of them and looting the chest so the dude with 5000 kc is prob doing that
