You can't plant heather or meadsweet but you can get seeds from nettle, yarrow, sorrel, clayweed. Also can grind wild flour from some roots. Sometimes you find seeds in general shops though that is rare luck. Or you can raid a village field for seeds but risk making villagers permanently hostile. You can buy bags of grain to plant with and the beginner course tutorial gives free seeds. The naido mushrooms you ate won't kill you but they ARE hallucinatory. Been enjoying your series very much :)
I figured it would be something like that. Well the garden is built for now, so if I find any seeds I have a place to plant them. Hopefully I'll be able to grow something before winter, but even if not at least I have smoked meat galore. As far as the Noadi's mushrooms are concerned, I remember eating some raw a long time ago and had a nice trip as a result. I expected something similar this time, but maybe I overcooked them, or there just wasn't enough.
Good ideas. I'll keep this in mind for my next recording session.
Too late to plant anything now but good to have fields prepared as they carry through year to year, and you should collect seeds now to plant in spring. Make flour from some roots as it never spoils and is a great supplement to meat for porridge/soups/flatbread, see wiki under "Flour" for plants & roots suitable for making wild flour.
