China is not flooding the European market with cheap electric vehicles because there is a demand. Chinese car makers make double or triple the profit of the same car in Europe than in China, so if you think Chinese cars are cheap they are even cheaper within China. Those Chinese car makers are not subsidised by the state. They simply have a low cost of production.
Much of a Chinese EV is assembled by industrial robots.

The fact is Chinese EVs are cheaper because of their strong manufacturing power and technological innovation, if they are subsidised by the government then how do you explain selling them cheaper in China?

A German Volkswagen car is half its price in China compared to it is in Germany. Honda and Toyota are losing the Chinese market which is one of the major reasons why Japanese yen plummets

First, Trump started the "trade war" with China and EU has no car import taxes for Chine while the USA has them..... also, China attacking Taiwan is much more complex than it seems at first. China when it comes to semiconductors is around 60% dependent on Taiwan, also, on the western side of Taiwan, Taiwan has mountains and woods which means its harder to attack them directly with ground forces (it would be kinda complex like the war in Vietnam). Next, there are multiple countries around Taiwan but also mutiple islands with dozens of war equipement and especially defense systems which would defend Taiwan, also Taiwan is around 160 KM away from the China coast (over sea). Over sea battles are much more complex and hard as hell.... the USA navy/fleet is much stronger than Chinas own, also the USA aviation is stronger (Chinas not bad but not that much). China might have stronger ground forces aka manpower but again, it would be a battle oversea.
Basically, China would be insane to attack Taiwan. Not saying there would be no chances but hard as hell.

To make an EV is cheaper than making Combustion Cars. USA and EU knew about EV cars way back in the 1960s, and did nothing about it because they were making trillions in profits selling dirty Combustion Cars and fuel (petrol, diesal, gas). It was all about making money taking the last pennies out of the pockets of billions of citizens globally.
China decided to pursue the EV and improve upon it about 5 years ago. China wanted to get into the car industry but knew it did not stand a chance with Combustion Vehicles because USA, Germany, Italy and Japan dominated the market, so China decided to invest in EV's improving the technology in leaps and bounds at very cheap, quality price. In China, locals can buy a TAILOR MADE EV for $8,000.
What China discovered is that people around the world wanted EV's and are now mass producing them and selling them all over the world, at the delight of Billions of people.
Now we have USA, Germany, Italy, and Japan complaining. You had your chance for over 70 years and you did NOTHING out of your pure greed for short term profits, at the cost of people's livelihoods and life styles.
