Very good demonstration! I have both of these dispensers and the OXO cleans up much easier. The Gourmet one gets batter around and inside the opening which makes it harder to clean where the OXO you can remove the silicone valve and clean it separately.
for slower pours just thicken the batter or don't fully depress the trigger... the OXO looks like you could judge a slower poor better since you can see the opening... but thanks for the demo... I think I'd go with the OXO... I'm also thinking you could maybe use it for Fried Dough(nuts) / Funnel cake type...
