I used to play COD Mobile with claw grip. Nothing too snazzy like what Fortnite players do with buildings, but the kind of movement that gets you Legendary rank for 3 seasons. Playing with phone controls like this is on about the same level as bumper controls on console, or mouse and keyboard. Feels effortless, but takes a lot of getting used to, a lot of remapping buttons and getting a feel of touch controls. It's essentially a controller without buttons, so every tap has to be second nature. You gotta trust that the input is true. Some people even use gyro, which adds motion controls to the mix. Whatever works for you, it can be as precise as a mouse and keyboard, but by God, it takes a lot of practice. Like, weeks. Months. Months of feeling like your controller is an ice rink for your fingers.

That's hilarious that you use one of those one of those thumb cover deals, I always just used baby powder until I finally decided to get a Bluetooth controller, the turtle beach recon cloud works great and being that its an Xbox controller I didnt have to adjust to the controls as I used to play on Xbox
Touch edit is very good, but it kind of lacks when it comes to cross hair placement since you have to adjust your aim for a second. Good skills though.
