I've never seen this much water and green in the North! Join me as we chase the big water in Mapungubwe and KNP. Oh, and watch me cook a Ketemba potjie 😬😂
I love it when I'm in a national park and it rains, light to average showers❤ . I feel at home when I'm out there, the great outdoors!!!. You guys' videos always put some sparkle in our lives some of us nature lovers. What beautiful places you are privileged to visit. Thanx a ton.
Have been to all of them, and yes peak season looks much different, Going to Satara end of April to visit my Dad's bench in the corner of Satara's camp near the bungalow's. Great work your doing, Please keep it up.
I'm no longer a 'meat eater', but, have to say that potjie looked de-li-cious! Also have to say, 'I dream of my childhood in South Africa, it's mountains, rivers, wildlife, nature and fruits, nearly everyday of my 50 years in U.K. and damn, do miss biltong and droewors'! Wonderful to see the lush bush and the soulful music was perfection. Wonderful to have been able to virtually travel with you again. Thank you and thank you to your lovely wife for the 'secret herb and spice mix'.
Couldn't agree with you more on the bathroom to campsite ratio. I've been trying to get that message through for the longest time. Great video as always.
Cant get enough of you fellas and your travels!! More cooking segments from you please, its not a great camp oven until your covered in half of it:D It was so amzing to see the transformation with the rains!!! Thank you for putting the work in to bring us such beautiful country.
Thanks Christoff for sharing your trip with us .We were at the same time as you guys .What a downpour was it at Blouberg .We had it like that for 3 knights at the wilderness camp .Enjoy.
Awesome footage of a most beautiful Kruger. Am i mistaken or was that male lion you guys filmed, was he injured, the one walking towards your vehicle and then lying down in the road? Thanks for bringing it to us.
I also meant to ask about how you manage the heat when tent camping? I’m in the southern state of Georgia and have considered overlanding a three season activity
Hi just interested. What do you do with the trash and wast food . Do you put them in your vehicle or do you put them in a trashRoo and hang the them up in a tree so the animal can,t get at the trash. I live in the uk so would to now more about four wheel driving in South Africa
All of the South African national parks have garbage bins at camp. In remote camps, especially in Botswana, you have to carry your garbage with you (wheel bins like the trasharoo works best) and dispose of it at specific points (at the gates or towns). Roofracks are usually the best place to put garbage bags to keep it away from animals.

I love your videos. Thank you for letting us come along. It would be fascinating if you could also mention the names of the birds you spotted.
Thanks Werner! In this particular video I showed the African Scops owl and a Black Crake.
@@GetOutGO thank you so much for your reply with the bird types. It was much appreciated.
Food looked great..but where’s the pap?
One disaster at a time 😂 I'll make fresh bread next time (but I'll put pap down on the list)
Good one!
Thanks Henk!
Dig the glorious night shots”
Thanks!
When opening those cans put your thumb on the center pin and lever up with your forefinger then it should not break.
Thanks Gary 😂 I’m useless at cooking (clearly)
Awesome footage of a most beautiful Kruger. Am i mistaken or was that male lion you guys filmed, was he injured, the one walking towards your vehicle and then lying down in the road? Thanks for bringing it to us.
My pleasure! Yes, the one male lion had an injury on one of his legs
My wife can’t stop talking about your stew, but always complain about mine when I samurai the kitchen 😳
The explosive stew sure loooooooks 🔥🔥🔥
😁 thanks Tshidiso!
I also meant to ask about how you manage the heat when tent camping? I’m in the southern state of Georgia and have considered overlanding a three season activity
I have a 12v fan and try to park in the shade usually but in 40c+ heat all I can say is you just have to get used to it 🤷♂️

Hi Kristoff. Where you in the last two weeks in the Savuti? I think you camped next door to us/
Yup we were in Savuti, give is a shout next time!
What about Balule - Rustic camp?
Balule is classified as a satellite camp. It has huts as well and let’s face it, it doesn’t come close to Tsendze.
Great job again Chris👍
Come on guys , get signed up on Patreon to support Chris !!👏
Much appreciated Alan!
What hat are you wearing and where did you buy it?
It’s a Driza-Bone, they don’t make them anymore unfortunately. Closest hat to it is an Akubra but they’re crazy expensive.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
🙏
I preferer the north as its not as commercialized as the lower parts of Kruger and lost to see!
Agreed! I also prefer the North
Didn’t get food poisoning 😄☀️✌️🐆
Yup, we were lucky 😂
Please don't call it bathrooms at 15:07. It is NOT a bathroom, it is toilets, or maybe as the Americans call it, restrooms.....
Noted 👍
