Had a 08 mkx with the 20” tire…black…. Just got the 2010 tuxedo black..like the black interior alot over the beige my 08 had…these cars are phenomenal..lincoln did it right when it comes to the 1st generation mkx’s….was debating between the mkx n a 2012 mkt…decided to go with mkx again just love the body style. The 2nd-3rd gens are nice dont get it twisted but the 1st gen looks so much cleaner imo…thanks for your thorough video…my 2010 basically identical to car in vid accept 20’s not 22’…n black grill which damn that looks so mean. Love it
Thanks for the compliment! Yes, this Midnight Limited Edition is a beautiful package and very rare! I do agree with the first generation....much better than the newer ones! But then again, I love my 25 year old Town Car too!
I’ve had 2 MKX’s Both 07’s Going To Be Hopefully Buying Another This Weekend but I gotta say this MKX is one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen I also agree the silhouette changes were ugly after 2010
It's lovely!❤ I am a fan of Ford products... The only bad thing is the configuration of the water pump of the v6 3.5 of the ford products... Luckily here where I live at least it is not so expensive to replace it unlike other places where it almost exceeds the price of the truck. It is one of my favorite American brands compared to the GM competition that today seems to only make disposable vehicles... Personally I love the color black, pearl white or red. I love white or beige interiors. Although I have a doubt. Was the "midnight" edition also available in white or only black...? It's a bit difficult for me to differentiate the versions of the MKX... Well, actually I was guided by the ambient light, the tailgate heating button or the touch screen. I've also seen some Lincoln mkx here in my city with the black grill... Maybe that's why I wonder if it also came out in other body colors or if the owners changed the grill... And in general... According to your experience... How do you think I could identify a limited edition MKX "Midnight" other than the color black...? What details are definitive to differentiate it from the rest? Huge greetings from the land of Taco, Tequila and parties...!🎉

You are correct about the water pump issue - very common, expensive, good to do timing chains at the same time....but, about the only "big" thing that goes wrong with these! If you watch my entire video about this one I know I show the original window sticker during the course of the video and it shows the "Midnight Limited Edition" as an option on there. I am uncertain about the color choice offerings but I would say the easiest and fastest way to tell is the huge 22 inch wheels. They are instantly recognizable and different than any of the "norms". The black grille was also part of this package and another visual clue that it has that package if you are lucky enough to spot one. It is difficult in general without the original window sticker to know if it is an ultimate, elite, limited edition, etc package. I "might' be doing a video on a 2015 MKX with the limited edition package and 22 inch wheels as well coming soon........ Thanks for your commentary! -Nathan

Maybe I've only looked at the "Elite" versions. or some with fully chrome 20-inch flat wheels By today's standards, it's still a very well-equipped family crossover. I plan to start with a 2010 Mkx, the best preserved and equipped possible. Since I was a teenager I liked the square design of the 2010 that had the chrome grill or the range of colors and beige finishes of the interiors... They were very nice when I looked at them parked at the dealership. It is said that the 3.7 V6 engines in the 2011-2015 mkx were not as bad or as prone to failure. In my opinion, both generations are very beautiful... After 2015 I didn't like the MKx's design as much or the small 4-cylinder "EcoBoom" turbocharged engines. From what I've researched, they were not very reliable and I believe they caused recalls on several Ford Lincoln products.

Active Beam headlights are from Volvo, but Fords too since they still owned them then.
Just got one too, and I love it.. also did this guy say he replaced the left front axel? Just one side?? Lol
