That's some fire time fishin for this time of year! I think you should definitely go the kayak route. It's so much easier to have all your gear in the yak and just drag the sumbitch to the water. No trolling motor, no heavy ass battery. I've had a couple of those 2 man plastic boats, a couple regular jon boats, but it's all about the yak now.
I had Bells Palsy too. One morning just woke up to it. Scariest feeling in the world! Thankfully with meds it went away after about 3 weeks. Some people aren't that lucky and it goes on to be permanent.

Okay I'm really digging this style of fishing and I own a really nice tournament ready bass boat and this is just awesome & humble, I guess it just so relateable to more people and reminds me of how i started fishing, this style video should be repeated a few times once in awhile with sub's and friends! Thanks Ben! Btw I found the most roomiest of boat's at Bass pro shop 12ft pelican intruder with built in seats that aren't in the way ! And considerably cheaper at 649.00& longer versus the sun dolphin at 949.00! Ratatouille! bring us back to where we all started! Seriously loved it! God bless brother! Get better soon!

@@MillikenFishing Hey Man, just wanted to say I got Bell's Palsy this past January. Took me roughly three weeks for the prednizone to do it's job. Make sure you get yourself some lubrication for your eye when you go to sleep though man. My eye started killing me since I work outdoors and I couldn't close my eye or blink. I'm up here in Canada so it was cold which made it worse I'm sure however, I'd recommend taking care of your eye. It can get painful. Stay strong dude, it'll pass. Frustrating part is not being able to eat properly lol.

You definitely should invest in a small boat of some sorts and do more videos like this. Im specifically a kayak fisherman and you should definitely check out a Jackson blue sky 360 kayak. It's basically a pontoon kayak.

I love my damn 9 foot sun dolphin 🐬. Setting the hook on 4-6 pounders with frogs is tricky, but it helps keep your balance in check. 👊
