Really helpful video of how you can use MPE to create nice sounds and of course, more expressive. I hope you will upload more stuff like that!! 🔥

Very helpful! Now I have some idea of why I would want to use MPE and what can be done with it. Plus, I didn't know about Seaboard. Very cool!

Great Video and Channel! Any chance I can get a tip for controlling the filter cutoff with slide? I followed along and got everything working except for that section of the video even after re-watching the section and tinkering.

Thank you! Here are a couple of things I would check:
      1. Make sure MPE is enabled for your controller in the Midi Ports in the MIDI tab of Live's preferences.
      2. If you're using a controller by ROLI, make sure that it's set to MPE mode inside the ROLI dashboard software.
      3. Check to make sure the polarity of the slide modulation is going the right direction. Like, in Wavetable if you want to open the filter with slide, it should show 100, and then the filter should be closed all the way down to 20hz.
      4. Is Live getting Slide data from your controller? There is a max for live device called "MPE Control" (found under "MIDI Effects") that will display Pressure, Slide, and Pitch coming in over midi. Make sure you see slide data coming through, that way you know the controller is sending data correctly.
      Hopefully that helps out.
