    The idea of comparing Nigeria with just any place because it’s called a country, without bothering to provide perspective, is just ridiculous.
    Equatorial Guinea has a population of 1.6million and a land area of 28,051 square kilometers.
    Bayelsa, the smallest state in Nigeria has a population of 2.5million with less than half the land area (10.777km2) but you come to TH-cam to compare Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, are you serious? Abuja FCT has a bigger population than Equatorial Guinea, (3.840,00 (2023) and a land area of 7,315km2). So, if you must compare, use appropriate comparison of comparable population areas which in Nigeria would be places/states like Bayelsa or Abuja, FCT but certainly not Nigeria the whole country and Equatorial Guinea unless you are comparing an elephant and a mouse, then say so, otherwise you’ll be misleading your viewers.

    • @emmamikejnr
      @emmamikejnr  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t and didn’t in anyway compare Nigeria to Equatorial Guinea, instead trying to create more awareness about Equatorial Guinea and some of there opinions about Nigeria. But you’re right and u really appreciate your comment ❤️🙏🏾

    • @joeyternaagor6457
      @joeyternaagor6457 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@emmamikejnrWhen you state opinion(s) on country A and B, you are comparing and contrasting no matter your actual intention and by whatever name you call it, whether creating awareness or whatever, so let’s be clear about that.
      But I was actually triggered by the very first comment that said Nigeria is not the nicest country, and I’m like, says who?
      All that I will say is this: let’s stop belittling our great country by this device of matching her against midget countries to create awareness for the uninformed or misinformed youths of such countries. Notionally, all countries are equal but practically and in reality, I just don’t see how anyone would be comparing Nigeria with entities such as for example, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, etc. But you can harvest tons of opinions, quite often, negative opinions from such countries about Nigeria, which those rendering such opinions form them on the basis of negative media impressions.
      Question is if a country has not dealt with managing a population of five or 10 million people, for example, what qualifies its citizens to render off the cuff judgments on a country managing over 200 million people as to anything for crying out loud?

    You should comparing Equatorial Guinea to Bobrisky or Portable not Nigeria.
    Nonsense...
    Even Bobrisky and Portable are far popular than Equatorial Guinea.
    How many people in the world that ever heard of Equatorial Guinea?
    Even how many of African youth that ever heard of Equatorial Guinea?
    How many people ever heard of Equatorial Guinea President?
    Me myself I never heard the name of Equatorial Guinea President.
    Tell me anything about Equatorial Guinea contributing to Africa?
    Tell me the people of Equatorial Guinea had ever contributed to the Africa popularity.

    You guys are going around belittling Nigeria by comparing and contrasting ants to elephant.
    However, the size of Equatorial Guinea is proof that each Nigerian State can be economically viable.
    So, Nigeria should immediately decentralize our economy, and let each State become semi-autonomous, just like the 'Regionalism' of colonial era.
    Let each State develop like it's own country. Every State should develop their resources, retain 100% of resource revenue, and control their own destiny!
    Instead, Nigerian Government is taking resource revenue of Rivers State, and distributing it in pieces to other States. This is opposite of the practice in the US, Canada, and other advanced economies.
    Nigeria is practising over-centralized economic system that equalizes all the States in the federation, thereby, hindering advancement, and nationalizing poverty.
    Decentralizing Nigeria's economic system will immediately diversify the economy, create economic opportunities, and rescue Nigeria from further descent into insecurity and chaos.
    Decentralizing Nigeria's economic system will create similar vibrant economic scenario that existed when the British handed over power to Nigerians. At that time, there were pyramids of export produce such as peanuts. There were miles of cocoa warehouses. There were vast tracks of palm oil plantation, as well as thriving mining industry. Regions produced goods for which they have comparative advantage!
    Let us now develop along State lines!
