Totally agreed - the coaster looked so sorry for itself rusting away behind that fence so I was really pleased they put some money into it - given it an egg-stra few years hopefully!
Not correct - they sold the ride's rattlesnake theming (i.e. Sid the Snake) for £2646, not the coaster train. I believe they have refurbished the original train (which is a lot longer than 6 feet as it accommodates I believe up to 40 passengers).
I remember riding this coaster in 1992 when it was called Rattlesnake. To be honest, the carriages don't look any different, the same rock hard shiny plastic seats. Those seats certainly don't make it a comfortable ride... but it's was still fun. I had no idea until recently they let rust away. Seems a strange thing to do... was that because they couldn't afford to maintain it?
Zierer Tivolis are my secret pleasure. The very first roller coaster I rode back in 1982 was the one that operated at Liseberg called Lilla Bergbanan. It had the classic ladybug trains.
It's the same ride really just a different theme, they have done a good job of the 'chicken coop' station structure - was great to see the park bring this coaster back to life
Great stuff - was nice to be able to celebrate the re-opening of this fun family coaster...I gather the park has ambitious plans for that part of the park, so that is really encouraging. Hopefully the owners will support them with future investment.
What do you mean? It's a real roller coasters. The park has 4 coasters catering for a range of ages and thrill seeking...which is absolutely key for a family park...there is nothing wrong with this country, although I would like to have more modern wooden roller coasters as we have only had 1 new wooden coaster built in the last 23 years.
This country has no real rollercoasters.?? Blackpool pleasure beach is the home to the largest rollercoaster in the UK bitch don't try spill the coffee it's supposed to be tea
The drop caught me off guard!!
My first ever rollercoaster when I was about 5. It was heart breaking to see in bits last time I was there. Brilliant that they brought it back.

Fair play Pleasurewood Hills. They’ve restored a classic rude and made a unique theme out of it. Well done.
Eggs-xactly
We absolutely loved this ride!!!
Great stuff - it's my local park
Congratulations woody and pleasurewood hills for bring back the best ride but I went in April but that was my last time
That ride is such a yolk!
Welcome back Rattlesnake! I believe the old trains are now on Rattlesnake Coaster at Adventureland in New York.
I have no idea if they sold the old trains or simply re-themed them...why do you think the NY coaster has got the old trains from Pleasurewood Hills?
They built the Egg-Spress trains? @@matthewhoward8996

I am on that ride in that add!!
Egg-cellent video!
Thanks - and keep crackin' those egg jokes :-)
I can tell that for the chicken this would be an eggstreme ride. Over easy she goes. 😜🎢😝
Thanks for the yokes Lisa - It's not eggstreme though, just a gentle farm-ily coaster
I said for the chicken it would be eggstreme not for the human. Chickens always look for exit on any coaster. 😜🐥🐔🐓
Why does woody look proper scary now
I just think he's lost weight :-)
This is like the junior coaster from RCT
I like the low turn out of Media photogs at this event. They certainly didn't need to scramble for a pic
These jokes are eggcellent, they surely can't be beat!
The mascot character wanted to get the cluck out of there!

Not sure why it was left to rust, but glad it was given some TLC and brought back to life

This one started out as Ladybird before adopting the snake theme
How 1982 the park opened in 1983 this was an opening ride its quite fair how they did this though
@@agamer2025 Liseberg opened in 1923.
I read it wrong
My childhood is back! Shame it's not rattlesnake anymore
It's the same ride really just a different theme, they have done a good job of the 'chicken coop' station structure - was great to see the park bring this coaster back to life
@@davidjellis yeah it's great news!
So is it the exact same as the rattlesnakes just called a different name?
The track has been refurbished, the train has been re-themed, the station has a very new look, but it's the same roller coaster.
davidjellis okay thank you.
I went on it when it was a day after it opened
I hope you had fun :-)
Is this the rattlesnake??
Yes it is :-)
Yes
I'd be too chicken to ride.
LOL :-)
That ride operator was really hard boiled.
You know, if this thing crashed, you'd get egg salad.
Some of the ride hills looked very over easy.
Keep crackin' those yokes Ric :-)
I love this ride and all but half way round the guy says ‘DOYAAWANNAGOAGAN??!!!!’ And it’s the most annoying and loud thing ever
Ova-themed coaster.
LOL
I was at the vip thing

I’m happy it now goes two times
Good meme

Every other country has real rollercoasters... what is wrong with this country ?????
