He was famous for not following the trends and really making his own path by staying true to himself. Hui was really inspired by him and identified with that feeling and write this song.

You have no idea how I super gasp-inhaled with exhilaration when I saw this in my subscription feed. My face could be a meme. Yeah, that stoked. This song/video is so boss, super underrated and super under-reacted to. Props for the strong appreciation of one-shot takes, their dances moves, vocals, and performance skills. I really enjoyed how you broke some things down, it made me pay more attention to the people behind the center focus and also the background dancers (I love that there are males and females). Lots of other comments have good info on the group and this song, not much to add there. I love the melody of "We never die" after the first chorus! So GOOD. Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but near the end of the chorus Hongseok's line is "God bless you", he sings it with such style you may not have caught the English (about 2:15 in the MV). I think it's a cool part of the song. Additionally, I dig your shirt. I have basically the same one, but in black. "Down here, it's our time." People say this everyday everytime that PENTAGON is underrated and it's really tiring but their lot of TH-camrs now that "engage" in making videos on PENTAGON because they dont understand why they are so underrated. They were already prepared because this song come from a survival show and they participated in. This Survival show " ROAD TO KINGDOM" was anwful. They working so hard to be more recognized but so it's very frustrated from them not to get recognition for it especially when everyone says that are underrated. it's so fucked up. so this song was to relieve their anger from the that survival show and for the 4 years they ve been working without so much recognition. I would recommend watching Breakers, which "is a music battle show featuring singer-songwriters who are skilled in composing, writing lyrics, and singing" (aka they are given a theme each episode and have to make a song/performance out of it & get judged by an audience on whether they continue on or not).
