It's called dark blast you get it in the normal edition
Star, never use widow's fan, its range is extremely short, shorter than the knives. even though the super slash throws the fan, it is still pretty bad in my opinion. Use weapons that are fast and can deal a lot of head hits, because shogun's damage absorbtion is a pain. i would suggest you use blade tonfas or heavy nunchaku. They are fast and can do a lot of damage. for the heavy nunchaku, play the strong slash with throws, it is useful. these are my opinion, so you don't have to listen to it, it is your choice, but that it what i recommend you. : )
I prefer using something like Labryses because they deal MASSIVE damage, especially on head hits.

@StarInSky When you are using nunchaku you don't need to spam the attack button, you need to move the joystick facin the oponent and then tap the attack button once (it's a pretty spamy move)

Dude thats the exact same thing i do....that's the only reason why nunchuks is my favourite weapon in the game. You can just spam the attack yiy said and it does a lot of damage too

this is what happens when someone is a noob
You should use Blade Tonfas, because shogun has damage absorption and you can only cause damage when you do multiple attacks at a time
Indeed, even if the tonfas weren’t enchanted, you would still be able to deal so much damage due to how fast it’s attacks are and because of how strong they are, especially its special attack, the only slow attack that the tonfas can do is it’s hold attack, tho it’s hold attack is pretty strong too

Widow's fans are deadly against Shogun. I defeated him on Sf2 and Sf2SE with Widow's fans

For shogun just max out everything that’s what I did to kill him
Shogun uses his bodyguards in the second and third round
He has epic armor so shogun has damage absorption for armor and helmet so he is aggressive
i defeated shogun with upgrade three and wrecked him.

Hey S.I.S.( Star in sky ) I deafeated Shogun with Widow's Fans only both in day and eclipse mode by 3 - 1 (Day mode for seal) and by 3 - 0 (in night mode for his Katanas)

You should probably use golden katana it is power full indeed but widow's fans have life steal that can regenerate your life so better choice at strategy is to use widow's fans but Shogun has demage absorbance buff that makes him take no demage at all so be prepared I guess you best chance is a weapon with bleeding or poison
