    Mind Twist is so brutal!
    Love the Chains deck very spicy, too bad they are so expensive.

    Really strange sideboard option for Chains.
    One of the more important combo for chains decks is, strangely, howling mine+island sanctuary. Helps a lot against creature based decks and makes Chains asymmetric. I even keep one copy of Gravity sphere in the deck, which is a non-bo with abyss, but depending if draw sequence may help.
    Also haunting winds in SB are great against robots, moxen and icy artifacts.
    I tried creature based Chains last year, this year I play creatureless chains. Some games are uploaded my channel. But results are mixed))) still trying to outthink my meta.
    Next iteration: I try is to combine Chains deck with Mill of Dreams deck (millstone+field of dreams combo) for autumn tournament.

      Great suggestions, I wish I owned a playset to experiment with. Very interesting and powerful enchantment.
      About the sb, I think it's a transformational side-board, meaning he takes out his entire Chains plan and swaps it out for a dif strategy, in this case a pink weenie strategy.

      With howling mine and 2 chains, each player draws 2 cards each turn and discards 2 cards each turn. Awesome combo.

      @@joeb1522 with 1 mines and 2 chains each player draws 1 card, then discards 2 cards, then draws a card. And if you have island sanctuary, you can “turn off” negative effect of the chains for yourself, still drawing 1 card each turn.

    Used to play chains in my vintage 5 color STAX list along with in the eye of chaos . Brutal lock with smoke stack, Trinisphere, and sphere of resistance

    This takes me back to when I had a chains deck for Legacy. Chains and puzzle box was always so brutal. Of course it took 15 min each time explaining what chains did lol

    Sage of Lat-Nam says you can't sacrifice an artifact that's already on its way to the graveyard. Why was this removed in the modern text?

    • @TimmytheSorcerer
      @TimmytheSorcerer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably because of the stack. For example, when an opponent plays a disenchant on your artifact it goes in the stack. You can respond by sacrificing the targeted artifact to the Sage. That will also go on the stack. The ability that’s added last to the stack resolves first. In this case the artifact is sacrificed to the Sage, before it is destroyed by the disenchant.

    He could use at least one Storm world! (another The Rack copy in this deck to sum up the damage)

      Storm World is so cool! I remember people playing it in their Bolas decks 🔥

    SHould basically ban games with twister/walk/recall , not even close to a challenge ..... boring to watch. Love your channel. Love your content.... already sick of seeing blue splash decks tbh. Zero thought, just winning on pure card power/advantage.
