    Thanks for taking us along on this repair Journey. There's some detailed knowledge required to be able to do what you just did and have it come out right.

      Thank you. Yes, 5 years of training and then in the job field as an industrial HVAC mechanic. I'm in a different field of work now but I still help out family and friends who have need of help with their HVAC needs.

    I’m continually impressed by your skill-set and your work ethic. Farming makes mechanics of us all, but your abilities are exceptional. On a side note, I like the longer length of your videos; as I own a Kubota M7060 open station, I especially look forward to more of its videos 👍🏻.

      Thank you, your comment are an encouragement and appreciate. Both my grandpas were mechanics. I spent a lot of time with them and they taught me a lot. My dad used to say that my skills skips a generation. He might be on to something because both my grandsons have it but my son struggles.
      There isn't much more than general maintenance on my Kubota. It is new, lol. It is now mainly the loader and light duty tractor.

    dad had a tractor that was giving him fits for finding the leak. tried die a couple times just couldnt find it. welded up an air chuck fitting to fit to the fittings on the pump. put some air pressure to it and just started listening. didnt take more then a couple minutes to find it.

      I put that N pressure to it and about 5 seconds I heard the hissing sound start. Thanks for being here.

      Thanks. This is one of the reasons why I started doing videos. I looked for how to videos on different equipment and couldn't find it and I saw videos where people were asking questions. Thant and I enjoy doing these videos, lol.

    Which direction does that coupler piece go that’s at the bottom corner of the cab that you replaced? I assume it’s directional and I’m not sure which way mine came off. Thanks in advance

    • @TAHDAHFarm
      @TAHDAHFarm  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is directional, but I will have to look at it again.

      @@TAHDAHFarm I re watched your video this morning and I think I could determine the direction by just pausing and looking at how yours was orientated ! Thanks buddy!

    Ive never seen you use that Ford 2000 😯

    • @TAHDAHFarm
      @TAHDAHFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      June 25, 2018, and it is titled "Fordson Super Dexta Mowing the Pasture". There is a story behind the Ford 2000 hood that I talk about in the video. Several videos earlier, I also show it at the end of the 2nd video on "Repairing the Ford Flail Mower Pt2" Grandpa bought it new in 1964 from the Ford dealer where he was one of their mechanics. It is not used for much more than mowing and the use of the hitch on the front to help move wagons and other things around in the barn.

    When you ad refrigerant. Do you have to center both king valves? or just the suction side ?

    • @TAHDAHFarm
      @TAHDAHFarm  ปีที่แล้ว

      I connect both the low (suction) and high (discharge) pressure gages to the king valves at the compressor. So I center both so I can see both gages. But if you only care to watch the low side, then only center the low valve.

      @@TAHDAHFarm thank you so much for your reply. The system 986 will not take any refrigerant. Any ideas?

      O-rings were from my local IH dealer and the lines from Anderson Tractor in Bluffton, Ohio. They are an used tractor parts dealer. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      I got the new hoses from Anderson Tractor in Bluffton, Ohio. The parts were available on line from the same after market stores that Anderson and the dealer was going to get them from. It was basically the same price but the IH dealer shipping was a lot more. I did get the rest of the parts I needed for the IH dealer.
