Thank you for posting this. I can’t believe how much better Pinballx is than Hyperpin.
This is a great video I had so much trouble getting everything setup and feel I am fairly computer literate but their a lot of settings to making this work that you would not think of.

This helped a lot. Waiting for MY cabinet which is shipping now. I got 20 tables working 100% in VPX, VP9 and also in pinball X
- I had some ball stuttering but I had to edit the dddraw in the registry for each game from 1 to 0 so I could ruin full screen mode and now the games run like butter.

No matter what, every time I try to open a vpx table it says “ can not load file of that version”. Do you have a tutorial for that.. btw, this video was awesome.. best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you for doing this..
OK, took me over a week but I have everything setup in VP10 with PinballX and it’s pretty freakin awesome. Some bugs to work out of PinballX as it is sluggish even with an SSD which is weird. But thanks for the video.

We are working with hyperarcadesystems.com on a pinball drive. It will be plug and play with your computer.
This is insane guys... so many smart pinball minds out there, shouldn't the roms come with the table?. I download a table but finding a rom is like finding a needle in a hay stack
The rom is a copy of the software on the rom on the genuine table. As such, it's covered by copyright / sometimes patents / etc. and let's just say that it's legally not really allowed to be distributed as such.
The tables on the other hand, given this is freeware, are essentially put together by enthusiasts, for themselves, so that they can play the game on their own machine. Be thankful that they share it.
I purchased gameex for the online media import feature, and it didn't import anything.

FYI... There is an all in one installer that will install VPX, VP9, Physmod all in one go.
At 3:10 I suggest to do this.
I didn't get that far, as you had already advised to setup VP9 first and then 10 separately.

But, after following this, still having probs. Installed VP and did settings for running on PC.
Set up pinball8,9 and 10 and beta version. Got Addams family table and rom and put in right folders. . Tried running table and it , says VB script - taf_l7 terminated before initialized, check rom path or rom file. This happening on every table. On Back to the Future table, it says error on line 216, and line 216 says - run getplayer HWnd
. I know I am nearly there in getting the table to work, but this is stopping me playing the tables. Please can you help cure this error, so I can play the table. Thanks friend.
are you running on windows 10? try compability mode on windows xp.
does antivirus software stop this from downloading?

why are these tables and roms so unorganized? Why is it such a task just to put one table together?
Probably because of legal reasons. Can't couple them together.

very unclear when you say download VPX installer 10.5.0 there is like 5 different downloads what one do we download lol
The file you want to down load is VPX5setup.zip this is the latest version of VPX.
Why does it have to be so bloody complicated. You should basically download install play the game done. Not everyone built there machine, i bought mine allready done but its all locked up so i cant get anymore machines unless i go into all this crappy setup stuff, effectively breaking my warranty. grrrr annoying
Why would you not contact who your purchased from? If you are worried about warranty would that not cover your issues?
