Thank you for this. After many years I am close to plucking up the courage to try this (hopefully next month) and make my first visit to Europe.
I have watched several videos going to Europe, this is the first I have seen coming back. Very useful.

Hi 👋 ahh glad you found it useful! I promise you the thought of it is much worse than actually doing it! My wife suffers with anxiety and claustrophobia and she did it no problem. The fact you can get out of your car and walk about a little bit is good. You are literally in and out in about 40 minutes...in the tunnel for about 25. It's very well manned and you can enter the other carraiges if you need to. You're not 'trapped' so to speak. You got this buddy 💪 and other info or questions feel free to ask. Have a lovely time!! 😃

As an EV owner planning a trip on eurotunnel, great to see someone with an EV doing this. What are the chargers you are using in this video and how did you pay?

Hi, thank you glad you found it useful. We have a Hyundai Kona and we used the Tesla chargers, we downloaded the Tesla app and once you register your bank details on the app you just click “charge your non Tesla” (unless you have a Tesla of course) you then pick your location and charger number, plug it in and you’re good to go. When you’ve finished you just click ‘stop charging’ and the payment goes out of your bank account. It’s really easy in fairness 😊 hope this helps 😊

Thanks for the video - it's very helpful :) I am curious whether you got your passport stamped at UK Border Control when leaving France ?

Ah glad you found it useful 😁 hmm 🤔 I’m pretty sure we did both ways but I’ll have to check my passport to know for certain lol

The UK Border Force stamps passports of non-British citizens when they enter the UK (or in this case leave France). The UK doesn't stamp the passports of its own citizens.
