- Part 2 of 2 Watch in HD. Classic Game Room HD reviews DIRT for Xbox 360. This review shows DIRT gameplay and footage in high definition widescreen video. This is an excellent rally racing, off road racing, truck, big rig dirt driving video game. Dirt came out in 2006 and is available at a bargain price today, drive a variety of vehicles like the Subaru Rally Car, Mitsubishi Lancer Rally Car, Lancia Rally Car and off road dune buggy things in courses from the USA, United Kingdom, Japan, Italy and other. Challenge your competitors one on one in rally events or race in crowded events with other drivers trying to crush you! Dirt is fun off road driving and reminds me of the 1000 miles to Baja race or whatever it's called. From Codemasters, features the late, great Colin McRae in the game racing against you. Classic Game Room reviews driving games in high definition like Gran Turismo 5, Forza 2, Ferrari Challenge and DiRT. Reminds me of Colin McRae Rally for the Playstation. You can win DiRT achievement points and achievements the longer you play and win championships. Another cool mode of gameplay is the Hill Climb races.

GRID two of the most thrilling
and fun racing games to appear on
the market for years. DIRT is
phenominal and as you say, Mark,
there is indeed a DIRT2 on the way.
Didn't you notice how detailed and
varied the flora and fauna, the
beautiful weather effects,
such as the italian sunshine, the
bavarian and english weather?
There is no reason not to really love
DIRT and with a refined game
engine DIRT2 will be stunning.
I will for sure have to check this game out. Of course I will play the PS3 version. Awesome video man.

Dirt 1 rocks on the Three Sixty! (looks wierd spelled out) made the 360 shine. Great game.
Didn't get to see it on Ps3 (Pee ess three)sure it looked good there too.

Those " delivery Trucks" are response vehicles for rally drivers who participate in the mass rally's such as the Dakar Rally

OK ive got grid and i think its amazing ....im getting this game but can you only drive in 1st person view or can you change the view like in grid?

Actually Dirt is this generation's installment of the Colin Mcrae Rally series. The latest game from the makers of Dirt is Grid, so I guess you could kind of call Grid Dirt 2.

The Trucks that you said you didn't say what they were for. The answer is they were used in a rally called the Dakar Rally.
They should do Colin Mcrae: MARS. That'd be awesome, and with rally spaceships too :D

On a sidenote, i think Microsoft should get a TI OMAP3 processor and make something like a handheld xbox. The processor i suggest is a successor of the one used in iPod Touch and iPhone, but a bit faster and can do Pixel Shader 2.0 for effects comparable or better than on original xbox, but is really a complete, powersaving system on 1 chip (CPU, vector unit, graphics unit, 128MB RAM). The final system could go as cheap as 200 bucks, with profit.

I think that Grid and DiRT 2 share game engine. You get flashback and the shadows are the same. I think.

Okay, that makes more sense. But I wasn't trying to say that "Grid" WAS "Dirt 2", I was just pointing out that they were made by the same people and had similarities. Basically saying, "hey, if you liked Dirt, you might want to check out this game too"...

if codemasters make another dirt style racing game they should deffinately have a banger and stock racing mode with tracks like foxhall and mildenhall. search it if you don't know what it is. lol at the last part of the video, thats what I do when I'm bored and know that i've already lost the race :p

after watching your review of burnout paradise, i decided to go out and buy it, and one of the first things i noticed is theres no driver behind the wheel. crazy lol

what i love about this game is hoe challenging it is, not as enjoyable as forza 2, but much more challenging
if "Mud" would be the sequel to "Dirt", then the sequel to Muddy the Mudskipper would be Dirty the Dirtskipper. which sounds rather kinky. roar!

Even though I love the Gran Turismo and Forza series, I find Dirt to be the only one to actually have good car damage! Forza's car damage just looks so fake, but this one is actually realistic!
unfortunately DIRt had terrible driving physics, the follow up GRID was really more than improved, and Codemasters deserved a prize for this. DIrt had a good presentation, though you still need a very fast PC to get a steady framerate above 30, especially when you race against different cpu cars. after considering there might be another attempt from codemasters i sold my steelbox copy for around 15 bucks.

if you had to choose one i would choose burnout
there called T4, they race in Dakar, not ups.
they put them on ps3 and 360 because they are more powerful... no point putting it on ps2 or wii if it would have to be a lower quality. making a special lower quality version for them would cost more or making the whole thing lower quality would mean a smaller market on 2 most popular concoles for driving games so lower profits anyway.
The graphical style is way too 'brownish' for my taste. I guess they're trying for a sepia effect, but I wish they would have left an option to remove it. It distracted me so badly I couldn't play much of this game at all.

theres 2 or 3 outside views and 1 on the bumper and 1 on the hood mate im not %100 sure on all the views i havnt played it in a while i got bored of it lol
