This was an excellent presentation. We have a roof top garden in Staten Island, NY. Everything in containers. Herbs, such as basil, parsley, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and dill. Also we have Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, beets, sweet potatoes, and lots of flowers that my wife picked to attract bees, and butterflies. We were talking about the physical difficulty of farming this morning. But as you said the rewards outweigh the hard work.
Thank you for explaining about going for walks in the soil, and woods to overcome depression.

Im from New Zealand but I"m not a farmer, but here is a suggestion, look at starting up micro organic farms, in schools, neighbor hoods etc, that my friend would be cool. You are already healed my friend because of your kindness and love for others whether rich or poor. Their Love for you will touch your (Wairua) Spirit and you will feel it move in a way thats Eternally Amazing. Your love also for the land and its surroundings go hand in hand with the people who Love it also cause our Physical DNA is made from the Earth and our (Wairua) Spirit lives in us and you will see their Spirit through their Smiles, Laughter and the Light in their eyes switch on because of the hope you have given them. And it will touch you and move you in ways beyond our understanding. You are rich in many ways.

It's really an amazing video...!!! As my grandparents come from farming background n my dad during his childhood n youth used to go to our fields n do ploughing of rice, paddy, banana n they used to tell stories to us so that we should know the value of soil n nature n how important the role of a farmer in our livelihood n how many days it takes grain turning to rice..... Soo on... Post marriage, my dad shifted to city n then he started doing job but his love towards nature n farming never left ..!!! He used to do gardening, grow trees, plant flowering trees, banana trees, guava, mango etc in the back n front yards when we used to live in our quarters. !! May be that Quality from my father what I have got inherited n I love farming.!!! As you said, farming needs discipline...!!! It gives immense happiness when you happen to see a bloom or a bud from the plant you sow....!!!! The morning mist , sunlight, sounds of birds gives you the feeling which you can't express in words...!! Now we are staying in an individual house but sadly we don't have any place to plant trees but I love to and so I plant whatever I like...it may be a veggie or a flowering one , I will plant n experiment with varieties n my mom taunts me - you are the one who is soiling the terrace n yeah deep inside she very well knew how I love to do this planting ...:):) Am an engineer but I love to enjoy in soil ... I just can't stop myself when I happen to visit any farm or any nursery, I just feeel soooo happieee that I can't get out of that space . !! My fav terrace gardening consists Mint, Spinach, tomatoes, coriander, water melon, n all these I have done from the kitchen waste..!!! I prepare compost for my plants.!! But what I dnt lyk or truly speaking am scared of earthworms... N so at times I used to think they are like friends to farmers but that feeling of me never goes..!! Sir, cud you please tell me how to join your course or to get training from you n yeah I want to work in your farm if you allow me ....:):) Seriously, time flies when you are close to mother nature...:):) SEED is an excellent approach of you to bring kids towards Nature n soil...!!! Hope your daughter is doing good n she is doing a n so are you.. thanqqq for uploading the video ...💐💐💐💐

People think farming is for poor people.
I dropped out of respectable Engg. college in Mumbai because it was just not for me. Always had the love for gardening. After lots of research took over our family village farm land in Kokan which was lying dormant.
Its my 3rd year here and I make roughly 10-15 lakhs a year farming after expenses and labour.
Already bought another 5 acres to expand.
    Couldn't be more happy.

There is a misconception around farming that has really harmed the environment overall. Farming is associated with poverty, so my generation seems to have almost completely ruled it out as a potential career.
I love what you're doing here, than believe you are not only healing the earth, but being a safe and healthy place for so many young people. Your impact is outstanding. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. Your words have also been spoken by the great benevolent Master Sadhguru who rejuvenated TN. I'm from Malaysia and I suffer from several skin problems and handling my pet dogs and cat makes it more worrisome. I first contracted it when studying and working in Spore . I remember Sadhguru saying that only in India and no where else that an area of agricultural land can have four different harvests in a year!!! I am most impressed by your courage and wish your family and your trainee charges success and happiness in your endeavours in organic farming etc etc. Wishing all of you sunshine and blue skies from here.

I work in Food Corporation of India and I talk friendly with labours, asking about their Goodwill etc. And they respect me back and gave all thier love and they cooperate with me in field activities extremely well and I am saved from unnecessary departmental issues regarding quality of food grains.
