The challenge in India is finding legitimate farmland for peaceful living. With the country being densely populated, the supply of land is limited, while demand remains high. As a result, acquiring even 1 acre of land seems impossible for those with a middle-class income. This situation is further exacerbated by greed, corruption, and overpopulation. Only a fortunate few, typically those in top corporate management positions with high incomes, can afford to purchase countryside land. 😌

Her husband was my senior in a Global Investment bank, earning very well. So achieving this simple life is actually very expensive job not everyone can do. We need to understand that both partners together were taking 1.5 cr to 1.75 cr that too 10 years back.
I think the point being made here is not that we are poor. But that we chose to stop earning more and make way for others like you to take up those jobs and earn. Also we chose to spend the money we earned to restore a barren piece of land. Not to buy a penthouse in Mumbai. It's about how much to earn, how to keep consumption low, and spend your wealth on building ecological security.

Yes, good point on the income levels and corpus that enabled this life. The hard work of their student years itself laid the foundation for their lifestyle. As she said managing the money earned from those high incomes itself becomes a full time job - so maybe took up a certain portion of 'stay at home' dad's time. Over twenty years later we have added a second home to the 17 acre property a small and evolving food forest, vegetable garden and small flock of chickens. We also added two llamas to support our rewilding efforts for the degraded land due to their taste for star thistle, an invasive weed and their synonymous digestive system to native deer which has favored native grass recovery. Woww .. So much clarity.. m living in NCR since childhood and this is what i miss the most .. very important point she made people should move out of the cities if they are not working but at the same time usually retire people dont get medical facilities out of the cities ..otherwise it makes sense to live near big city and travel as per the requirement .. rent out ur house and make some money out of it as well .. I also say people from tier 3 or towns dont bring ur parents if u dont have big enough house ..have seen parents get sad as their social life get destryed in cities .. seen some of my relatives who even moved from Delhi to mumbai became so sad
I don't mean to dismiss your point, but if you can afford a house in a well-maintained gated community, your parents can enjoy a great quality of life without being confined to a flat. Unfortunately, villages where I'm from have their challenges. Many villagers are unaware or indifferent to the harm caused by burning garbage and crop residue, and there's no proper garbage disposal system. There's also a lot of jealousy and rivalry, with people going to great lengths to bring others down. If you can afford a large plot of land and build a house like the guest in this video, it's worth considering a move. However, be aware that village politics can be tricky. Politicians, whether in power or not, might cause trouble if you don't support them financially.
@@AlBICIDI i think u have not read my point fully ..i was talking about ppl who are not working and they r not from tier 1 cities as well ..Right now Delhi NCR property rates are like minimum 5 cr for 200 sq mtr plot that too in some mediocre area in Noida or Ghaziabad ..Delhi its minimum 10 cr and ggn may be 7-8 cr ..Mumbai hahaha .. i dont know how many people from village doing job and earning so much ..i was talking about middle class where they slog and purchase 3 bhk house with 10*12 rooms for 1 cr in places like Noida extension ..please dont mind but quality of life in Indian teir 1 cities sucks ..Pollution, overcrowded streets ..
@@tattvamasee Agreed. 100%. It's just mindless and insane to spend so much money on such little houses in such pollution-rich environments. If the government can encourage people to de-urbanize and provide good medical facilities in the towns/villages, that'd make India a bit tolerable for folks like me who can't stand pollution even one hour without getting a headache. I've been meaning to leave the country for this very reason (pollution) but I'm too old to get a student visa (I have some career gaps as well, which is a problem for Universities) and I'm too impatient to try for PR visas.

I really like the idea and clean thoughts she spoke about in a way that makes sense to everyone who cares about the family, environment, society, village and wealth management. Great video
What a humble personality.what a meaning ful and joyful life you are leading.insoiration and anchor to many like us .Thank you for for the insight.wonderful journey
What a gem of a person. What a life she has built. A stellar career but no greed beyond a point, a happy family and happy respectful kids and a peaceful life. Surely an inspiration to many.
Haha, her last salary was 2.30 crores in Adobe ok. Total wealth or cash balance more than 50 crores she have.
It's not for middle class, ghar chalana he, ration Lana he, bachee ki school fees. 99 percent of middle class will never reach salary of 2.30 crores not even 50 lacs in their entire life time
Yes Manisha Maam what you said at 9.20 . Grow what you eat and eat what you grow.
I have heard an older person saying the exact same thing in a different way. " He said - You should only eat fruits and vegetables grown in your geographical area. And not the ones from outside. As they have over the years modified genetically to your environment.
Glad to know this resonated with you
This video has changed my perspective of seeing what a true life is. thanks
What a wonderful and gracious person she is❤ thanks wint wealth for your contribution of bringing such wonderful person out on screen. I truly appreciate your unique way of spreading awareness on financial literacy. Following your channel since the pandemic event, I never regretted watching the content of any of your videos. Love and respect from Pakistan.
Been wondering why you guys haven't uploaded anything yet ❤finally worth tge all wait
Thank you guys for making this video. Comes at a time in life when I am thinking about undertaking a similar journey. Such amazing clarity of thought. So beautifully executed.
Truly appreciate wint for bring these stories to light. Every story is different and inspiring. Doesn't mean we agree and follow everyone but one thing that's common in all these successful stories is each one of them seems to have clarity of thought and a vision in what they believe in. These videos inspire us to create our own vision and though process to reach there.
Very inspiring 👏 her kids are so grateful
Thought provoking video. Had the privilege of working closely with this inspiring marketing guru / permaculture expert
Thank you, and so nice to see you here Arun!
Marketing guru?
@@AlBICIDI yes I was the CMO at Axis Bank and Uber .. I guess some people could consider that to be a marketing guru
@@farmaanandaa Oh, yeah. Gotcha. As I mentioned in another comment under this video, you're an inspiration. 🙏🏼
@@farmaanandaa Is there any internship open to work??
Such an inspiration....great woman indeed. Not arrogant at all in her talk. ❤
So much Inspiring
Brave Decision with Unique Determination
I salute You
Congratulations
Dear sister,
Good job being done by you. Allah bless you and give you success in achieving your
goals. We pray for good health and prosperity.
This seems so much like our story … I was a GM with ITC hotels , Neetu was a regional head with MMT ( Though we were not making these kind of salaries 😅) we were comfortable. Then Neetu left her Job to establish our Farm and Homestay up here in the mountains and I followed suit after 5 years … this is an amazing story and I so relate to it … our daughter just went to college but the time I could spend with her was amazing, the healthy food , family time - absolutely priceless.
Kudos to both of you. Rgds Aseem Varma
Very inspiring. I am also looking for atleast one acre of farm land away from the crowded city. I also aspire to build such a farm house to produce atleast my own food.
Proud of you & such an intellectual mind set🎉
Kudoos. What a beautiful thought. Of giving back to society. Thanks for bringing them. They are close to my hometown. ♥️♥️
What a brilliant 14 mins video blessed with incredible life lessons, with rich in wisdom in it. Absolutely fantastic !!!
thank you so much
Wint's videos are often like leave whatever you are doing. Else you'll miss an important thing. So I put aside all my work and then watch the full video.
Aunty's story is captivating.
Wint's video editor, that green veg symbol converting into a pie chart for wealth mgmt was terrific 😍. You hit the 🎯 man.
From Bangladesh.. Really inspired by your story.mmyou synchronised your knowledge with passion
Great to hear a perspective which encouraging shifting to smaller towns post retirement and building such "Real Wealth" there..
Insightful.. ❤
What a breath of fresh air. Literally and figuratively. And what a smart, intelligent, forward thinker. Loved her way of thinking. The house reminded me of the Earthship homes.
Yes we studied the earthships too. But those are best suited for cold climates. Thank you
Amazing video with mix of financial learning with blend of emotional intelligence to handle finance. Great respect on carrying and sharing wonderful perspectives
I have been watching her since 2021 and learned a lot from her... She is amazing and her project of Permaculture Farming is inspiring. 🙏 always love to listen her. ❤❤
thank you!
Each one of her comments are absolutely logical and reasonable
$80k every 4 weeks! I now have a good house and can now afford anything and also support my family😎
Huge, how did you achieve such biweekly returns? I'm a newbie and I've lost a lot of money investing on my own. Please how do I go about it, the year is almost coming to an end, how can I make profit?
Hello, I am very interested. As you know, there are tons of investments out there and without solid knowledge, I can't decide what is best. Can you explain further how you invest and earn?
As a beginner, it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Miss Luara Clarence has guided me for years and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.
Wow Wow her too Miss Luara Clarence is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
The clarity she had made is like she make peace with her life , we have a long way ahead.
loved your statement...if you are not earning move out and make space for others
This is probably the best FIRE story I’ve watched. She not only moved to a village for her own benefit but she thinks of the local economy as well. The way she planned her house and all. Loved it ❤
thank you!
A lot of Respect and love from Pakistan. You won my heart❤. Great job mam.
Such an amazing mindset! She is an inspiration.
4:15 I share the same perspective ~ we also have a farmland, and I'm enjoying my 2nd sabbatical ~ 1st one was longer (2yrs) Pre-Corona after returning from Fiji & 2nd am doing now, while starting my own Spanish venture in Mohali. Would luv to visit you folks one day, hope I get a pass to know you folks more closely :) ~ luv from Jammu!
This is knowledge through wisdom ❤❤❤❤❤
This is urban enlightenment…I hope it is a trend which continues to grow and sustain ❤
If this enlightnment grows, in one way few farmers would loose their (even fertile land) since city folks would have higher purchasing power.
Love the episode and the thinking. It's all about the internal compass and being in harmony with nature..
Wow..... very clear and simple perspective of life but very very effective one. She is the perfect example of true feminism. She has a very good understanding of the basic human needs i.e PEACE. My perspective of looking towards my life has just changed by hearing this lady. Kudos to her........
Thank you
@farmaanandaa Most welcome ma'am. If possible please do some more podcasts about balancing life and finances. You have a very rich experience in the finance world and we would definitely want to hear your thoughts ma'am........

Exactly my thoughts, but problem is that now agri land is also too costly to buy. 😢
Unfortunately that's true
What a refreshing perspective of life! Wish more people think like this!

The best episode till date

“If we’re not working and earning in the city, we should leave to make way for others in the cities.. “
If only we understand this simple truth..
Hatts Off to U Mam ❤
Goa needs a person like U to impact them. Those Goans who have sold their lands 😢
One thing she said which I liked is children should get involved in the projects we take up so that they feel that sense of ownership in future when they grow up
Absolutely. Specially if you are building an ecosystem, which takes decades to do. You need the project to be intergenerational
She is emitting a very pure energy , so confident ,well spoken and simple . Thoroughly enjoyed the video . God bless her beautiful self and her family.
Good to see WINT featuring more women on your channel.
Lovely story 😊 and you kept chasing ur dream. Best wishes 👍
