Air mega has basic hepa 13 filter and a deodorisation filter as shown in d pics in amazon whereas the 150 has coways patented green antivirus hepa filter along with the urethane carbon filter. Would this make lot of difference, should i go with the 150 due to better quality filters keeping in mind the new filters will be 1.5-2k more expensive?
I understand your point but I would still suggest you to buy coway air mega aim than coway air mega 150 because patented green anti-virus hepa filter is nothing but a marketing stunt by the company and I say this by using the purifier myself. Why the airmega aim 3 to 4k cheaper on amazon rhan 150 variant (as of 10 june 2024) So what are the drawbacks of aim then compared to 150? Is the filters of aim is costlier than the 150 variant?
That's a very good question brother ...but unfortunately the company has not cleared it anywhere as to why it is so. The only difference is the size and weight of Coway Air Mega Aim is smaller than Coway Air Mega 150 but that doesn't make a difference to reduce the price as you noted. And also Coway Air Mega Aim is a newer and better version of Coway Air Mega 150 so choose aim over 150 any day if you wish to buy the latest Coway purifier.

Aim has filters in the wrong order, the carbon filter shouldn't be the last as there could be carbon particles in the purified air, HEPA should be last. Basic design flaw with most of the modern commercial budget airpurifiers for residential use in the market including Philips.
No it is not. It means that the air of your room is not cleaned properly. Either use the air purifier by closing all doors and windows of the room or you need to contact the company to check your purifier machine.

I have the red light ON even after 10 hours of continuous using. Is it normal? ( Using it in Delhi NCR)
