- that first hour and half of day light is the ticket!
gotta be in the water as the sun is coming up, and have the right terminal tackle to make it happen. free lining the croaker worked best for me.
feel free to fish them however you want.

i’m sure they do but mullet tend to swim near the surface

Those croakers look like they are finger mullet size. Ive never seen croaker that small.
