Green Screens or Blue Screens or Chroma Key are used to add different backgrounds to a video. They are also used whenever there are any VFX or special effects added to a video. These are very commonly used in the production of movies, documentaries and in TH-cam videos. Though a very simple process, editing out green screen can be difficult at times, mostly because of shadows that can ruin the overall video output.
