Join me for gentle walk through the woods of Thornton Reservoir and the National Forest, on the edge of the Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire.

It may be a grey day at the end of May, but the sun keeps trying to make an appearance.
We start by the reservoir and start on the easy well maintained path before taking the more rural paths deeper and higher into the woods.

Fabulous. My wife and I are enjoying your walks so very much. We are returning to Good Ol' Blighty in the summer and are looking forward to getting to know Lincs. My wife is wheelchair encumbered so we'll have to pick and choose. Would it be possible for you to have a look at some accessible walks with wheels?

Another lovely walk through the forest. Any idea what the purpley pink flowers are at 3:20? Those seemed quite lovely! Once spring gets going over there, the green just explodes doesn't it? Must be all that rain you guys are famous for! Such lovely birdsong too!
Hi 👋 thanks for watching 😀 we do tend to get a little rain over here at times ☔😂 but like you say we reap the benefits. 👍 I think the pink flower was Corncockle which is very common around woodlands and meadows 🌺 but i'm not great with plants so that's my best guess.
