You are smoking something. JD6 has zero top 25 wins, he also has a career QBR of 126 in Big12 play.. He is super overhyped because of the OOC slate where his QBR is 162. Literally 75% of his career stats are from OOC against terrible competition, or against teams that have over 20 people opt out of a bowl game.
The 50:50 games for Kansas in my opinion are Illinois, West Virginia, Kansas State, BYU, and Baylor.
The 50/50 games for KU are K-State and BYU. They'll be favored in every other one.

WVU (&ou) had one of the weaker conference schedules last year. It is misleading to just look at records even if it’s commonly done.

KU has been over every years under coach Leipold.

Houston might be a trap game, but how do you get from there to 8-4? Even a trap game isn’t necessarily an L, just closer than expected.

We can’t recruit with SEC teams in football that would be a horrible decision for KU. Big 10 would be okay though.

@@Mike-sp7zv the issue is we can’t recruit the south and Ohio like Kentucky can. Big 12 and Big 10 are midwestern conferences that mainly recruit in the Midwest with the occasional 3 star TX or Cali guy signing with them. We grow them big in the Midwest but the south grows them big and fast.
@@cjboyer4355 Kansas has recruited pretty well in Florida, Alabama, and I think Georgia.
@@Steve-mp3mp they had one guy in this years class from Georgia and one guy from Florida in last years class they are both average rated recruits. Leipold has recruited well out of the Midwest, TX, and he got three guys from the same school in Arizona.

Bear in mind none of the home games are actually at home because their stadium is being rebuilt. Kansas will win the conference in its last year in the Big12. 13-0.

The “home game” with ISU at Arrowhead is at best a neutral site game.
Playing “home game” at Arrowhead is a concern, but hearing how well the admin orchestrated the spring game at rock chalk park is encouraging that they will also make the “home game” very attractive for Jayhawk fans. That’s just accentuated all the more as the players get to play in an NFL stadium and stack wins.
