  • In this video I show how to make beef soup/stew to eat with vermicelli noodles. Khaopoon (ເຂົ້າປຸ້ນ) are vermicelli noodles. Nam Seen (ນ້ຳຊີ້ນ) indicates that it's a beef based soup. For another longer view of this video, see the recorded-live Facebook video at / 2339333799540666
    When people say they wan't Khaopoon without saying the soup type, they using mean the kind with coconut milk, which I showed in one of my old videos (C/w Nana: Lao Chicken Curry (ເຂົ້າປຸ້ນນ້ຳໄກ່ == Khaopoon Nam Gai)

    excellent but I am a little confuse between vermicelli noodle and rice noodle (kow poon and sent lont) isn't it two different kind of noodle?

    • @CookingwithNana
      @CookingwithNana  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Phetsamone Xayyavong vermicelli are rice stick nooodles (Khao poon). The "sen lon" are the clear noodles made from mung bean starch.

    I genuinely love all of your videos nana, but please stop using a metal spoon with your non stick pans! That non stick coating is really bad for you. ❤️❤️❤️

    • @CookingwithNana
      @CookingwithNana  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Boak Khoonsrivong yes metal spoon is messing up my non-stick coating. A few people also told me in comments that about the coating, but my doctor said it will just past through your body if you accidentally eat it. Doctor said it's only bad if you heat the pot really hot and you breathe in the smoke. Thank you for watching and your concern. ❤️
