That’s how I keep asking my children assistant class teacher when she will deliver her baby.
I never knew she wasn’t pregnant until the day I saw her and asked when she will going on maternity leave.😂😂😂. She told me she wasn’t pregnant. I was deeply embarrassed

I remember after getting married in 2021, the following year almost every woman in my church in Nigeria will be looking at my stomach to see if I am pregnant, so will even touch it. I was so pained because I was trying to be pregnant, I did IVF but failed. To break the camel’s back in 2023 I was called in front of the church for the whole church to pray for me to get pregnant. Why are we so insensitive to people feeling in Africa? Children are from God.

Your information is on point. I was in a waiting room to see my doctor and a lady who came with a big stomach did not have a seat. I told her excuse me since you are pregnant, let me offer you my seat. She said I am not pregnant. Everyone looked at her to hear her response, I have a HERNIA ! I apologized and she said it is okay everyone thinks I am pregnant. From that day I learnt my lesson

Thank you for the education and congratulations to Baby #5. I recently found out I was pregnant from a church member few weeks ago... She said " Nnem are you pregnant " Hmmm I looked at her and said God forbid... I already have 3 kids Under 4 yrs old and I am struggling with school, 14:53 work, family, house chores, the list endless... I came home and took a pregnancy test..... My sister, it was positive... I wanted to die... I called planned parenthood only to find out abortion is now illegal is texas... I cried... Then I remember 2 friends who are still waiting for the fruit of the womb, I just started praying for them... Asking GOD to use me as a point of contact...If I can transfer this pregnancy to them, I will do it instantly.. So yes, I'm keeping baby #4 and I am praying that GOD blessed all my sisters who are still waiting on GOD to bless them..

If the person is indeed pregnant, they now beam with pride and say ‘I knew it! My eyes are so good that it can detect a 2 week pregnancy’.
I pray these fallopian tube soldiers focus their energies on bettering themselves.

I am a small size lady and i had a fibroid situation, few months after i got married , each time it's that time of the month, i blot a little more than usual and oh my Lord, my mother - n- law, my pastor's wife, some ladies in the church, some friends will start congratulating me. It got so bad i had to do a surgery to get rid of the fibroid.
You can imagine. The unfortunate thing was i married late so they feel i should start producing babies right away.
Pressure! But the good thing is, i am not stress about it. God is the giver of children. My mom had my youngest sibling at the age of 50, after she had had 6 children and stopped giving birth for over 9 yrs.
If God decides to bless you with children, nothing can stop it.
People, no one is giving anyone a reward for noticing a pregnant woman first. Stop trying to ask or tell if you think someone is pregnant. It could be fibroid, health situation just like NENE said😮.

Thank you Barrister Neze this is so true. I experienced this in an oppostite fashion. My water broke at 34weeks due to mental and physical stress. After 2days admission and monitoring i had an unplanned C-section. Offcoirse baby was in the NICU and i was not ready to announce to the public but somehow people got to know. 4days after i was discharged while baby was still in the hospital. Calls started coming in "you had a baby and you dont want to tell us, what's our offence. I cried for days because these people didnt even know what i was going through.
People should learn to mind their business, i mean imagine if something terrible had happened and they are still questioning me. To the glory of God baby is 1+already.

I totally agree with you, Neze. I was a victim of congratulations, iyabeji, wherever I went back then (in my twenties and thirties). Meanwhile, I was suffering from Fibroid, and I was on the slim side then. I got married very late (almost 40 years of age), and I gave birth to my son, with a fibroid in the womb, but God did it ((after two fibroid surgeries). When I had this child, people asked me when I was having the next one (I had this child when I relocated abroad and was over 40). I tried having another one, but it was coming (miscarriages). Caring for a child abroad is not moinmoin o (daycare fee alone!). Even now, I still look pregnant, and this is due to weight gain and some mental issues. People need to be careful of the way they address other people, especially when it comes to mental and personal issues. Remain blessed, Neze♥

Thank you Neze for this enlightening video, my daughter will be 10 this December, we've been trying to conceive for a while now after I lost a her brother after giving birth prematurely at 27 weeks and another baby girl at 22 weeks pregnancy which few people knows about, the amount of, ahh do you want your child to be the only child, some people will even tell my child to ask me or her dad for siblings. It just crazy and sad.

Years ago I fell into the trap of congratulations to a woman I didnt even know for her pregnancy. She broke down crying. I felt so bad. Only to find out that she had out of control fibroids and she didnt even have any kids. She couldn't conceive. To date I do not say anything about women's bellys, weight, suspected pregnancy, nothing. Unless I am told, I mind my business

4 months afer my wedding, i was chatting with a woman i respected a lot and she said, please take care of the baby in your womb. I was taken aback because first, i was trying to conceive that period, second, i never told anyone i was pregnant. I tried to be polite and laughed it off by saying thank you but deep down, i was hurt. Fortunately, i got pregnant that same month. Imagine the pain i would have still been feeling if i still couldn't get pregnant after she said those words. Being sensitive to the feelings of others is extremely important. You don't know what they are going through, so don't make it worse for them.

Neze dear. Just getting to know you. And I appreciate how you spell it out. God bless you, for educating and telling the plain and simple truth.
I have been on the TTC journey and conceiving my two kids was a miracle. But bc I have a big tummy due to PCOS and childbirth, I cannot count the number times people thought I was pregnant. I learnt to ignore them and their thoughts. But the truth is that it does take its toll. I was already insecure because I was overweight, and their perception did not help.
I’ve learnt to keep my peace and my happiness, and be grateful to God.

You are so right, Neze. I am from Zambia. My husband died 6 years ago. Our son was almost 3 years old then. He's about to turn 9 now. I've had people tell me that my son needs a sibling, a sister. They think it's funny but it's insensitive to me because anybody who knows me knows I only have one child so far. Eventually, I did voice out about the insensitive and unfunny comments. Now, it's quite. People can be rude.

I was a victim of this later 2022 and early last year. People were just making comments that show that they think I'm pregnant, when I was struggling with fibroid. It really affected me. And esp because I'm actually looking for the fruit of the womb, but haven't gotten it yet. Took out the fibroid last year tho. Still expecting God's blessings. Thank you for this video. I'm one of your subscribers, but I've never commented. Just to let you know you're my best TH-camr, when it comes to real life stories. I actually love your storytelling, plus I have learned a lot of legal matters from you. Keep up the good work Neze Nwa.
