    the fade through comparison at 3:20 is exactly what i've bene trying to figure out, i've sat on Z650 and liked the seating, glad to know the Ninja is not much difference. I Greatly appreciate the fade by comparison

    Peter, I don't encounter many people who are creative and detailed quite like you are and able to convey that perspective of understanding to others effectively and efficiently. What you did with the comparison of riding position is so illustrative and basically put me right on what In have been trying to figure out about these two bikes. However, I did notice that your feet were not quite in the same position on the peg and it gave the illusion of the pegs not being in the same location until I reviewed it again. Everything else about it was a perfect representation of what one might expect in regards to riding position comparison. It would be even more helpful to know how tall you are and your reach you don't mind sharing that. The info about the Versys 650 and Vulcan sharing some DNA I have never heard mentioned before and basically helped me scratch the Versys 650 off of my 'maybe someday' list. I'm quite blown away that you don't have significantly more subscribers. If you keep this up they will come. Thank you for helping us.

      Thanks so much for your kind words. In regards to my feet being in that wrong position, I know... I've done this before with other bikes but I messed it up with this video. I had a busy day that day and didn't get to editing until I was home, and I wasn't able to re-film that. So I apologize for that. As far as my height I'm right around 6 feet tall and I THINK I have a 32 inch inseem but to be blunt, I'm not fully sure. As far as getting more subscribers, I used to run a MUCH larger channel with millions of viewers and much much more subscribers. These things take time to build, so hopefully things will continue to grow and hopefully I can continue to serve a purpose for viewers. I'll be patient. Thanks again for your support!

      @@PeterLoweOne No apology needed. It's hard to think about every little detail all of the time, sometimes it is a lot like juggling, way too many balls in the air, lol. I've posted my share of footage that I wish I had done differently or realized I missed a detail that would could have been better were it different. I subbed to all and look forward to everything else that you post.

    Nice! I saw the Z650 in person when the Motorcycle Show came here in Montreal. This weekend I'll try to sit on the 650 and hope I'm tall enough for it being only 5'4/5'5".
    Thanks for covering this!

      I met someone this past weekend who is about your height or even shorter, and she's been riding a Ninja 650 for a few years now. So there are others around your height who are riding these bikes. Thanks for watching!

      @@PeterLoweOne Mhm. And I also heard the seat on this is narrower compared to the Ninja 400, so I might be better off. Thanks, boss!

    • @sitesea
      @sitesea ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@elronaldopabloIt’s true. I sat on a Z650 and I was comfortably flat footed because the seat is narrower than my current sports bike.

    I know this video is old but I thought about something that can help the side to side comparison. Just get a masking tap, place in the floor and that would be where your front wheels will be and you can do the same for your camera as well so that the angle doesn’t change

    Is the Z650 or Z900 better for a tall rider, 6' 1"?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wouldn't choose either one over the other based on just your height. I'm 6 feet, so you can see that I fit on these bikes fine, and I bought a Z900RS. I would choose which one you like based on the other features, more than just your height. I think you'd be fine on both.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oooh... that's tough. Mid-line sporty. So... Subaru WRX? They're too similar to be different cars for me. They're not Porsche's, but they do have sporting pedigree, so they're not purely commuter vehicles. They're attainable, but still a step up from entry level. What do you think?

    In case of a strong side wind, the Z model can keep on stable due to much less plastics

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I would argue that any crosswind is going to effect the rider on each bike far more than the body work of the motorcycle. These bikes would be VERY similar in a crosswind.

      On casual days, they can be on many tracks. But I guess my point is, if you're in a tuck position on the Ninja, your mirrors are still in front of you.

      What I do isn't going to be for everyone, that's the beauty of TH-cam, you're a click away from something that may suit what you're looking for. Having said that, I'm always looking to improve within my style, so I'm glad you found the seating comparison useful. I've done that a number of times now, and I think it's helpful.
