Macgyver term is pretty amazing...based on the tv show in the mid 80's it struck the term so well in my mind where ever a person able to improvised any scraps and turn into useful tools. I just watched the new vice documentary that they put out recently on the war in Ukraine, and they actually did a pretty good job, considering that they’ve just become a Clickbait page as of recently. This new documentary reminded me of their 2010- era content, that real, raw reporting. It gave me an insight into how they craft these drones and use them. I Don't think these can change a lot. Not until Ukraine gets proper air support (still risky because od Russian Anti Air systems). And it can't even get Drone coverage over the frontline because of Russian Electronic Warfare systems. Speaking of EW systems, they can be crucial in this war.
In general both sides seem to be really evenly matched, and it has been that way for a while. Without either side having any kind of air power it probably won't shift much unless the political nature of the war changes, much like World war 1.

None of these systems will decide the outcome of war. But they are small steps in the right direction. Saving a few Ukrainians here and there, making their defense a little more effective... We should not expect a gamechanger every time something new is announced or introduced, this will still take a long time. The intended production line has been put on hold because they can't build them due to the design requiring western made electronics that they cannot make themselves and also they need the resources for T-90 production, T-62 modernization and T-54/55 refurbishment.

Cluster bombs are not banned by the Geneva convention ,rather 127 countries have signed an agreement not to use them instead. America has not signed! Russia has not signed and neither has Ukraine! Afew days ago my family gave our first donation to ukraine and specifically a drone unit fighting in kurst as of now I gave $30 my brother $20 and my dad $50 and although that might not seem like much it could go towards a drone that destroys a Russian vehicle or a wi fi signal extender to help keep a drone on course among a list of other possible things. The thing is that small things that regular people can buy many of will be the face of war in 20 - 50 years because even if a tank that costs $3 million takes 5 drones that cost $300 - $500 to make it will still massively favor the person who uses drones and it will not be worth it as much to use tanks for most scenarios because too much money.

I don't think pointing out the age of the T-90 is very relevant when M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 are both technically older than it. Then again, the T-90 is basically just an upgraded T-72. Even still, why point out the age specifically when it is comparably "old" with other modern MBTs?

Just crates as far as you could see of thompson machine guns, never opened with ammo. But all kinds of other weapons and equipment that had been there some 75 years. The Abrams was developed between 1972- 1975 and entered service in 1980. The Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams are products of the MBT-70 project. So you missed the mark on the history of the tanks and their development periods as well as when they entered service.
That's true for the original tanks designs and productions. However, the ones listed in the video are specifically the upgraded variants: the M1A2 Abrams (which was designed in the 1980s and entered production in the early 1990s) and the Leopard 2A6, which began production in 2006, and is a recent version of a line of Leopard 2 upgrades, stemming from the original Leopard 2 which entered service in 1979 as a product of the MBT-70 project.

If the US replaced the Abrams every time a new upgrade came out then the US would have more tanks than Russia before the war in Ukraine kicked off. The US has roughly 2,509 Abrams in various versions, with an additional 3,700 in storage. Yeah upgrade means replacing the electronics and other systems. Not building a new tank. Same with the Leopard 2's of which Germany has around 3,600. Fact is a new tank doesn't come around very often. Which is why everyone and their brother who had even a passing interest in takes freaked out about the T-14 Armata when it was introduced. Needless to say it wasn't that impressive to people who actually know anything about how tanks work. Everything on the T-14 was stuff the Russians had been developing since the late 90s. Drone wont help Korea from N.K. nukes. North Korea can fire 60 000 shels and rockets on Seul in few minutes. No drone can help there.
Considering Korea is quickly becoming an arms exporter of note, I highly doubt they will need to improvise much.

Afew days ago my family gave our first donation to ukraine and specifically a drone unit fighting in kurst as of now I gave $30 my brother $20 and my dad $50 and although that might not seem like much it could go towards a drone that destroys a Russian vehicle or a wi fi signal extender to help keep a drone on course among a list of other possible things. The thing is that small things that regular people can buy many of will be the face of war in 20 - 50 years because even if a tank that costs $3 million takes 5 drones that cost $300 - $500 to make it will still massively favor the person who uses drones and it will not be worth it as much to use tanks for most scenarios because too much money.
I'm sure some officer in ukrop army was very grateful for your donations when he was sniffing the white powdery substance from the breasts of a cheap woman, both of which he bought with those money you sent.
I don't think pointing out the age of the T-90 is very relevant when M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 are both technically older than it. Then again, the T-90 is basically just an upgraded T-72. Even still, why point out the age specifically when it is comparably "old" with other modern MBTs?
It is also misleading, because the discussion focuses on when the FIRST tank rolled off the assembly line, NOT when the latest tank was built. The US military announced it will continue to use the relatively ancient A-10 warthog tank-killer airplane through 2040. A design that has lasted over a long period of time does not mean that EVERY one built is as old as the first one built

And just huge wings off the main tunnel paxked full. It was unreal. Guy was trying to sell it to peoe, couldnt get any buyers.

The Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams are products of the MBT-70 project.
So you missed the mark on the history of the tanks and their development periods as well as when they entered service.
You should probably edit. "Lapard" to Leopard 2 before anyone sees it or they will think you're a sload.

However, the ones listed in the video are specifically the upgraded variants: the M1A2 Abrams (which was designed in the 1980s and entered production in the early 1990s) and the Leopard 2A6, which began production in 2006, and is a recent version of a line of Leopard 2 upgrades, stemming from the original Leopard 2 which entered service in 1979 as a product of the MBT-70 project.

@@thesenate9564 Upgrading a tank is not the same as building an entirely new tank. They simply refitted existing tanks . If the US replaced the Abrams every time a new upgrade came out then the US would have more tanks than Russia before the war in Ukraine kicked off.
The US has roughly 2,509 Abrams in various versions, with an additional 3,700 in storage.
Yeah upgrade means replacing the electronics and other systems. Not building a new tank. Same with the Leopard 2's of which Germany has around 3,600.
Fact is a new tank doesn't come around very often. Which is why everyone and their brother who had even a passing interest in takes freaked out about the T-14 Armata when it was introduced. Needless to say it wasn't that impressive to people who actually know anything about how tanks work. Everything on the T-14 was stuff the Russians had been developing since the late 90s. And are about a decade behind most of the world , about 2 decades behind the US, Germany and UK.

Most drone videos appear to be on lone injured and unarmed Russians. I've seen a few that were dropped on groups and vehicles but the largest majority look like they are just droning POWs in fields for propaganda videos.
