Your Vu TV failed doesn't mean everyone is promoting this for cash, my own TV is Vu and I have been using it for 4 years now. There are many people having issues with Sony, Samsung and all brands. Just because of one or two issues the entire line up is bad. Vu TVs are good for the pricing.
