You faux concrète is absolutely wonderful! I love the idea of using baking soda and adding vinegar! Have the "lumps" held up over time? You are very creative!!
This is probably the best faux painted concrete video I've found yet. And I've made it my mission in life to watch ALL of them. My issue is, I want concrete walls. OLD concrete walls. All of the most realistic concrete videos I've come across can only be pulled off if the piece is laying down. This is the first one that nailed it and I can see it working in any position. I just need to find a way to thicken the final wash so that it sets instead of drips. (matte modge podge instead of water, maybe? It would dry clear.) Definitely sharing with my BFF who I failed a few months ago when she asked me how to do it. (I cheated and used a real concrete feather finish in my hallway. Sadly, it looks exactly like concrete. NEW concrete. smh) I really hope this maker puts out many more videos. I'm fascinated by the things in the background and really want to see more 'how to' videos.
fantastic! Very realistic and the process is "easy enough" for most people. I'm gonna give it a go! How did the baking powder hold up over time? Any crumbling or the like?
