We got the success we wanted for Dreamcatcher, but at what cost... so much of Somnia culture has been completely subsumed. Not just old title tracks and bsides and Special Clips (Lucky Strike! Bang Bang Bang cover!) But also old memes. Like do new Somnias even know about Siyeon's pants or "fashion terrorist-ya" or Dreancatcger?
I think it's getting harder and harder for them to succeed in RPD because their choreo involves a lot of them switching position like across the stage so there would be too much ground to cover when the song switch mid-transition. that and also their song library are just that many by this point 🤣🤣
it's also a lot harder for groups with discographies that lean on the bigger side with more content and performances of b-sides, although possible it's a bit difficult to completely commit 100% of it to memory
Yes, and considering they've gone on tour recently, I think they know it, but have trouble when it comes to suddenly just dancing to it when a random part of the song plays (which is the whole point of the game ig haha). I don't know how to explain it well, but it's like when you're having trouble recalling the lyrics in a certain part of a song, so you sing the song from the beginning until you get to that part 😂
