    In Barranquilla, a city in Colombia, we love African music! ♥, There is a very popular song played all weekends "niciumburane by Joseph Kamaru"
    I'd like to know what this song is about or at least the translation to English, I´ve grown up listening to that song all morning weekends and I just realized it is in Kikuyu
    Someone, please help me to understand the lyric ♥♥

    • @LetsLearnKikuyu
      @LetsLearnKikuyu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The kikuyu alphabet does not use letter “ S”so there is no way you will make the sound “sh” in kikuyu. The correct pronunciation still remains mbeca. But given the impact of English language on kikuyu, it is now common to hear “mbesha” in spoken kikuyu.
