Parsa: Anything Gene does with a bandsaw you can do by hand with a coping saw or fretsaw. They only cost a few dollars here in the States and cutting out one of his banks would only take a few minutes. Hope that helps!
Gene u r so sweet. I remember watching ur video too. Doing things in books like u do is awesome. As u do have ur own style but I show others how a certain whittler does things. It's so nice of you. It also builds skills. So when visiting or out and about u can pick up a stick and give it a whittling
Jack Price started the little guy. He will be 99 this year and still can understand you and talk like anyone else, He can not walk like one of us, but his mind is better than most of us.
Jack is the grandfather of compact carving and there will never be another him ..all other small characters are based on his style and teachings ..we just change them a little bit
