Mie godog is real local authentic javanese noodle thats very flavourfull with egg and chicken brooth... its also tastefull because cooked by charcoal.

Around 10-40k depend on where and what's the meat... but in jogja mostly cheap especially on the street food. Around 10-25k

Bakmie is a hokkian word, maybe you really used to hear every indo cuisine with bak/ Ba for the first syllable.. Its means Meat in Hokkian or Rou in chinese? Bakmie ( meat noodle), Bakpao (meat Bao), Bakpia, Bakwan,Bakcang, Bakso,Bak kut teh, etc
yeahh, alot of hokkien in here, but many of them only older generation can speak hokkien, specially in jakarta, jogjakarta, surabaya

If you still stay in Yogyakarta you can try to eat Yogyakarta food, gudeg, bakpia 25, bakpia tugu ( bakpia kukus). Siomay, gado-gado (public food) all Indonesia city like that food. When you visit another city you can try to eat traditional food 😊, if you want😊😆. Enjoy your holiday in Indonesia and God bless you amen

Bakmi godok means boiled noodles, "bak" originally from hokkien language that mean pork, but so much indonesian people don't eat pork, so we change the meat with beef or ayam or something.

Bak (bah 肉) artinya daging mas...kalau Pork itu te-bak (tir-bah 豬肉)... Tir (豬) artinya babi dan bah (肉)artinya daging...

nahh man when u want to taste the local food u dont go to a freaking hotel, go to traditional or legend place u can easily find it on internet like " gudeg pawon, mangut mbah marto, bakmi pak pele" etc.
We are staying in the hotel as we mentioned in the first minute. Learn some manner.

If you still stay in Yogyakarta, can you try to visit kaliurang, there have so nice wiew and about story mount Merapi bunker (bunker kaliadem)and there have so unique hotel then you can try to ketep there have so beautiful view, you can see Merapi mounth then you can try to visit dieng wonosobo, you van visit there by motorbike, dieng wonosobo so beautifil wiew, place and there have dieng food name carica, is food so nice taste.

Bakmi Dodok is not correct... The soup noodles's correct name is Bakmi Godhog. Bakmi is Hokkienese words (肉麵) means Meat Noodles and Godhog is Javanese word means boiled...
