Cyclone was the fastest car id ever seen on the road.. 1986..never seen 1.. funny looking, lol. revved as i went by it around 65-70... guy burped his, and i nailed it.. nova was light, so i got about a half a car in front... then... i heard the kickdown at 110...literally left me sitting.. got past me at 140...leaving me...then... boom.. hit last gear with a screech.. never saw em again..1 of my fav cars ever.. thanks for the vid.. all these cars are treasures..
The Colony Park wagon is a fantastic piece. I do not remember ever seeing a wagon with a vinyl top. I never cared for the wood grain sides, but that is the most attractive cladding I’ve seen. My folks a two year old 75 Montego Villiager and one side was faded, probably due to how it was parked in relation to the hot sun. I had a 71 Cougar XR7 with a 352C 2V/ FMX. It had been rode pretty hard when I bought it, and I rode it hard myself. The 71s were not bad drivers.
I'm in heaven watching this! What a stunning collection. I've owned nine different Torinos and Cyclones in my day. Always wish I would have kept my 70 Montego MX with the hideaways and 71 Grabber Blue Cobra. This collection illustrates the brief period when designers designed cars for design's sake.
It nice to hear someone that knows cars Thank George Conrad for your knowledge and Letting Revan Evan for video's of your great cars. Thank You Revan Evan
Evan this collection is unbelievable I am nearly lost for words. We should be grateful that someone like George has the passion and wherewithal to make this happen. Wow just wow. What an honor it is to be able to view that collection with him like that. The Saskatchewan Torino made me chuckle. Growinup in Winnipeg during the 60s and 70s there was lots of these muscle cars around on every street. Some of them were oddballs too. My older brother owned the first 71 SCJ Mach 1 4 speed 430 gear Detroit locker drag pack car. I was with him when he bought it in the middle of winter in January 1972 or 73 I believe and it was at least minus 20 outside. He was the second owner. It had J78 studded whitewall snow tires on it when he bought it and yes it did get driven in a couple of winters back then but eventually got parked in the back yard at Grandma's house during the winter months. It saw a fair bit of street racing during it's life in Winnipeg. My brother let me use it for my Grad Parade in 1975. Those were the best of times!
Wow! Gorgeous collection! My brother had a 1970 black cougar XR7 black interior, black and white houndstooth vinal roof.351 cleavland! Automatic .Super cool and fast . I think he sold it for a grand. Needed some work. Wish we had her now. Thanks for the memories. Great channel and beautiful collection! Muscle cars forever!
Mind blowing is a term that may be slightly overuse these days. But this is a mind blowing collection. I’m from Ohio and never heard of this collection. Thank you so much for sharing this man’s passion with us. He seems like a pretty cool guy. That station wagon is completely bananas.
My dad was a huge cougar guy. He graduated hs in 67 and bought that exact black on black 427fe cougar when he graduated. Over the years he owned I believe ten at one time. All 427’s and 428cj’s. I remember as a kid we’d go to New England dragway with my godfather who was into the cutlasses. He had em all w30’s 442’s etc and I remember when my dad pulled up in his 67 xr7 E model and my godfather in his 69 w30 every one at the track shaking their heads saying we might as well go home now because nobody can touch these cars. So many good times at New England drag with my dad.
The only late 60s - early 70s Mercury missing is a Montego wagon with a big block. The Falcon was fascinating, the last generation is so obscure I only learned about its existence recently. 😁
Omg the Colony Park Wagon. Proposed to my wife in one on a camping trip to Tappan Lake, Ohio. It was my fifth car, first wagon and gosh I miss it dearly. Again , the humbleness and humility of you both makes the show. It truly does. Thx Evan. Looking forward to the finale !
My first car was a 1967 Cougar back in the late 80’s. In those days, I rarely seen any big block Cougars. I appreciate this fine collection. You save the best for last, 70 1/2 Falcon, my personal favorite. Thanks Evan for this series keep it coming but please give the camera person some time to salivate over these cars😂 we as viewers can definitely benefit from that.
Yeah I would love to have a 67 cougar with red interior and black on the outside. With manual shift. I had a 94 Thunderbird that was white with gray interior and it had the positive traction rear end and the 5.0 engine with interceptor transmission. It was an awesome car even though I love the older models more. It was in awesome shape with low miles so I couldn't pass on what a beast of a car it turned out to be. My older sister bought it from me and she had to call me to tell me she couldn't handle the power in the car when she hit the gas the first time she drove it she almost spun out and went into the ditch😂
My first car was 67 4 spd 289 in 84 , i was born in 67 . Great car In perfect refreshed mechanical order . Fresh lightl blue metallic blue , NO Powe4 steering which I loved , No power brakes , wind up windows, No Ac but original owner optioned 4 spd which was rare on 289 2 brll . But being a No option base car except 4 spd with BF Goodrich tires after I got it was not a real muscle car but pulled nicely being a lightweight stripper with a fresh perfect running 289 , spanked all the tired 318 and 307 auto cars most kids were driving and strong for an engine rated at 200Hp . Just a perfect working car with great little engine that looked great for 2500.00 . Had some bondo under fresh paint but perfect interior .
I was already KO just with the opening clip. Too many incredible stuff: Boss 302 Cougar, Colony Park, Comet Cyclone, 427 Cougar, 6.5 Cougar, Ranchero Cobra Jet, the awesome 70 1/2 Falcon, just to name a few. Very nice Mopars. I spotted some sweet Galaxies and Ford GTs in the back, and the (today) rare Merkur Scorpio. Awesome third part.
My Dad bought a 1965 Mercury Fairmont with the 410 Marauder engine. It had the slated rear window. I truly miss that car. Our family drove that car from Bremerton Washington to Zephryhills Fla. Then my Dad sold it to a friend of mine for 50 dollars. I did not know about that sale. When I got home and found out about it I was sick. But you guys truly have a very nice collection.
Top 5 muscle car for me. I wanted to purchase a 68 bl/bl with a 410 back in 1987. Original owner wanted like $4k. I was 17 and only had about half that.
Absolutely the biggest collection I have ever seen or even heard of much respect for this man's efforts to maintain historical values .amazing collection. Thanks Evan good work 👏.
Being a Ohioan, How have I not ever heard or know of George Conrad? In a way, Uncle Tony's garage sorta brought me here, while looking up the Aero Warriors reunions & stumbled into Granpa Cobra Jet Steve, can't recall his last name in Georgia, as a slight Mercury nut, w a '67 Cougar, '70 Cougar, x2'70 Cyclone GT's and a '72 Montego, strongly influenced by my Dad & Uncle who ardently followed The Wood Bros racing, alas I never able to acquire a '68+'69 Cyclone fadt back It'd be great to shoot the breeze w George, thanks for presenting this
Evan more great videos beautiful cars.70 cyclone special car has to be my favorites that's a very big car collection great one i will look for the 4th video very happy memories. Thank you Sir
I remember my brother-in-law telling me about a cougar wrapped around a telephone pole, the front touching the rear end. He said that's when they started cracking down on HP. It was crazy. He drove a GOAT...
That's the Holy Grail Cougar ....had a pal who's boss had a 7 Liter GT-E in the mid 70's. He replaced the heads and cam with over the counter Medium Riser pieces, so it wasn't the de-tuned 427 the factory installed anymore. It was HOT 🔥
The 1968 427 in the Cougar was effectively a '64 Low Riser in a hydraulic lifter-drilled 427 Side Oiler block, equipped with a 390 GT cam, lifters, pushrods and rocker arms. While it was equipped with an aluminum 428 Police Interceptor intake manifold, it was "strangled" by a 600 cfm Holley carb and a 390 GT exhaust system with its restrictive exhaust manifolds and 2" pipes, though it had those "neat" GT-E tailpipe tips. And placing 427 Medium Riser heads on this engine effectively lowered the compression, as the MR had domed pistons, while the GT-E had the 1963-64 style "bumper-equipped" flat top pistons.
@@johnjohnsn7633 You're right about all that....I think the 427 used the same heads as the Cobra Jet. The owner of the car owned the Chevron station in town and his brother was a mechanic at the Ford garage, so I'm sure they knew what they were doing. I know he swapped the iron exhaust for Hookers, but I was a teenager at the time, so most of the details went over my head.
I saw the other 2 videos, so I KNEW George would have the top cats! The XR7G w Sunroof in green is my top Cougar dream car. The closest I came was a ‘69 Std with sunroof and decor interior. I did have some nice XR7s though, including a MINT ‘69 done up as an Eliminator tribute/what-if.
My friend bought a Ranchero from his grandfather back in the 80s. It was a 70 or 71 with a 429 Cobra Jet with Ram Air, country squire, auto trans and brown in color. This thing was so unique I almost bought it off him.
Guys WHAT AN AMAZING MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE, your videos actually gets better as you go ABSOLUTELY AWESOME to watch everything, I love all the info , only one thing upset me , the 69 F-350 Bunpside car carrier I was hoping to see more about it as i am a Ford F-Series BumpsideFordTruck nutter , I’ve got two of the only made in Brazil 🇧🇷 Ford Bumpside Bronco only made less than 7 like mine with the rear tailgate like the 66-77 Early Bronco but with the 67-72 Ford Bumpside body ! Thank you from Adelaide South Australia 🇦🇺
There are nice collections all over, all brands, but that collection has to be one of the top Ford collections. I've always liked the 68-70's Cougars. My dad had a Green 68,69 Cougar.not sure of year, hideaway headlights. From very young to about 16, My mom had the new Ford every 5 yrs in the garage, my dad had all his work daily drjvers we maintained, I learned from 8 yrs old on. We always had all kinds of cars, my older brothers & sisters had. Families cars, and cars my dad had a few weeks at a time. My one brother bought a 70' Mach 1 Mustang brand new in 70' Grabber green, all the louvers, 4sp Hurst, 351 Cleveland.. that's my favorite one of many. I agree, Those Cougars will go way up more. I don't see many for sale at auctions yet. I think in the next 5 years, they'll be bringing Boss and Mach 1 money.
This brings me back to high school 1980-1984 I can’t believe my high school parking lot in Huntington Beach California Was full of 60’s & 70’s Muscle cars that got handed down from our parents . My family has always had fords and Course my first car was a 19 64 1/2 Ford Mustang handed down by my grandfather . Sadly I only had the car one year because it was T-bones at a four-way stop . Unfortunately I didn’t carry the tradition and I went off on a 20+ year Fascination with European cars mostly BMWs . Well that’s changed when the 2003 mustang cobra came out now the and I went back to my roots Since then I’ve been acquiring a nice collection of Ford mustangs
I love so many Mercury's. Like AMC's, Mercury's were over looked for years. Unfortunately, the market has caught up to them, and the prices are quite high. Having had my fair share, the 70 Cyclone 429, and the GT Cougar 427 are my favorites. 71 429 Cougar is on my bucket list
My very first car was a grabber blue 69 cougar with gt rally wheels the 351w was locked up we had a 351c laying around out or a torino we just had to do the work to get it on the road 3 speed disk brakes no power steering, but I was hooked from that day on 🔧🚗👊🇺🇸💪
I've not watched the first two parts, but I've got to find them! How much money does he have? I'm guessing he owns every car in that massive building? There's millions of dollars worth in them! I know there's a few collectors, that have large collections out there. But this amount is simply astonishing! Evan you never disappoint in bringing us outstanding videos, but ones like this,is on another level! Thank you so much!
My first car was a 1966 Mercury Caliente with a 390 ci with a 2 bbl carburetor with a 3 speed automatic transmission on the floor. Rated at 265 hp but it still was very very fast
I like seeing ya'll But when Ya'll are talking maybe the camara person can be showing the cars and more shot of the inside of the car to see if it a 4 speed or a auto.. Great Job !!!
Hi Evan I saw a Starliner next to the ramp truck and it had the Thunderbolt hood on her. Can Mr. George please give us a quick tour of that one?? I’m a Starliner Galaxie Crown Victoria fan. Great Video Thank You 🙏
Almost identical do the 67 colony Park we owned when I was a kid. It did not have a vinyl top and the interior looks somewhat different if I recall but the same color. That 410 would push that car to 120 mph plus. One of my I wish I still had it cars.
I once owned a 67 cougar for a week or two waiting for paper work to put plates on it but someone replaced the left inner panel on it and did not keep the serial number part and on cougars it is the only place to find said numbers so the guy had to give me back my money and that is my story of the one that got away that i still think about. I never sat in it and was so happy to have one finally and returned home almost 1800 km's (Canada) away just to wait and find out i was not getting it. Found a 65 4 speed convertible Mustang instead. It is next on my list to restore after my 69 440 Cuda gets off of the auto twirler. I really like this easy going laid back owners collection. I always joke to my friends if only i had Leno buck's but now i will have to include Conrad bucks to my list of collectors of classic cars. Wonder if he is willing to adopt a old boy in his family so i could borrow some of those car keys DAD?
The sleeper of the bunch was the 1971 Ranchero 500 with the CJ. Not much was said how special and rare it was unless you got the brief look at the Marti.
I saw a thunderbird in the background. I owned two when I was younger, but was never able to get them on the road. Both big blocks, and both went like stink. Very sad I had to let them go.

Loving the Geo. Conrad series..keep up the great work..would love to see the older Fords reviewed. 57 blower cars, 401’s, 406’s, Thunderbolt’s..
Liking that charger fastback in the lot. Love all the Mopar in your collection. These Mercury's are sweet tho.
This video blows me away! I have a 70 xr7 ragtop retromod 408 Cleveland 5sp it’s so fun to drive! Cougar so cool!

Our J Code XR-7 G is Augusta green. What a fine collection of cars. Thanks Evan. Then I saw my favorite car, at 14:36 a 56 Continental.
An almost unbelievable collection.......and he sure knows the details!
Incredible!! I think the unrestored cars are beautiful!! Love the wagon!! Awesome.
Every time I see this collection. All I can think of is WOW!! Amazing collection!
Great Cougars! I had a 1967 Cougar GT 390 w/427 Low Riser Heads Bullit Green 4 speed no console, Cobra Tach, American Mags…

410 was available in 1966-67, and the Mercury models were Monterey, Montclair, and Park Avenue, plus S-55.
Mercury wagons I think also came with "Yacht Panel" wood siding as an option.
Those Torino's are so sweet..had the Cougars, Mustangs a Montego ..thinking a Torino would get me back into the hobby
the black 68, 427 is simply BAD ASS, i drove a 68 with the sbf for 30 years
Top 5 muscle car for me. I wanted to purchase a 68 bl/bl with a 410 back in 1987. Original owner wanted like $4k. I was 17 and only had about half that.
Very educational. Thanks for sharing all that knowledge.

Too many to mention, but i like that '72 Cougar convert.
That Colony Park wagon was interesting as well.
Wagons seem to be the rarest classics as they were generally worked to death.
That 71 Torino cobra in blue wow.
Great video
Thanks!
His knowledge and dry sense of humor made this video one of the best on this channel 👍👍👍
I've still got the 69 cougar my dad bought for me...purchased brand new back in 69...351 4v 4spd...
I'm only watching cause my name is Evan and I love cars. Always wary of new car channels, but digging this so far. 👍 Subscribed
Great name and thank you, I hope you subscribed. We have a mix of content, tell us what you like.
I love this video that's eye candy
Snaggle tooth got me last night and broke side piece off 3rd time not replacing it ever again! ;)
My very first car was a grabber blue 69 cougar with gt rally wheels the 351w was locked up we had a 351c laying around out or a torino we just had to do the work to get it on the road 3 speed disk brakes no power steering, but I was hooked from that day on 🔧🚗👊🇺🇸💪
George is the best ❤
I've not watched the first two parts, but I've got to find them! How much money does he have? I'm guessing he owns every car in that massive building? There's millions of dollars worth in them! I know there's a few collectors, that have large collections out there. But this amount is simply astonishing! Evan you never disappoint in bringing us outstanding videos, but ones like this,is on another level! Thank you so much!
I didn’t ask him, but the answer is a lot. lol if you enjoy this you’ll love parts 1, 2 and 4 and 5 that I’m editing now.
I had a 68 Black on Black XR& with the HO 302. Also got a 70 Cobra Torino factory drag car. Bought it for 300.00 with 40k original miles
Awesome video !!
I had a 67 cougar as the first car I owned.
And it was beautiful. However, it only had a 302 Mustang engine in it.
None of this big blocked stuff😂
My first car was a 1966 Mercury Caliente with a 390 ci with a 2 bbl carburetor with a 3 speed automatic transmission on the floor. Rated at 265 hp but it still was very very fast
I like seeing ya'll But when Ya'll are talking maybe the camara person can be showing the cars and more shot of the inside of the car to see if it a 4 speed or a auto.. Great Job !!!
I had a 73 merc montego coup damn it was fast. Ive not seen any in a long time.
We had a red 6 cylinder 70 and a half falcon, I think my dad recked it driving to work.
I petted the merc.cougar yrs ago in Rochester N.Y..she was a very small cat.
I bought a 67 428 Country Square Black with red interior. Power everything A/C. Original paint/woodgrain.
What a collection?! Biggest question; what does this feller do for a living?
The 410 FE. Now there's one you don't hear too much about.
I'll take either Spoiler. Thanks.
