i love the version and the song "ANAK"....paalala sa mga anak na sana respituhin naten ang aten magulang no matter what they said for us kasi hindi para sa kanila yan ginagawa nila kungdi para sa aten mga anak. Always remember kungdi dahil sa magulang naten wala tayo sa mundong ito. My motto in life is : "If you want something , study and work hard, take an action and you will achieve it."

I love the laid-back and plaintive original version, but I also love this powerful and haunting performance. Her expressiveness and belting skills are outstanding. However, at 2:58 and 3:11, I couldn't help being distracted by the constricted quality of her 'ih' vowel. I hope she addresses it.
This vowel is easier to sing with the mouth opening of the 'ah' vowel (as in 'hot', as opposed to a wide, smile-like opening) and an open, (pre-yawn) throat position. :)
