Even though this video came out a long time ago, I only came across it just recently. Omg, this made me so emotional. I don’t understand Tagalog very well, but I am learning. Ms. Lani’s voice, along with the premise of the video, and the plight of the blind couple had me bawling my eyes out! Ms. Lani is an exceptional woman, not just as a singer but as a human being! Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️

The only thing that bothers me though is that there seems to be a lot of hate between fanbases of your female singers and unnecessary comparisons. Such a shame as reading some of the comments on some of the singers’ TH-cam videos are very negative and off putting. Honestly, I don’t understand this so-called “bashing” mindset as again, you as Filipinos, should all be proud of ALL your homegrown talents and have nothing but praise and respect for each singer. To have vocalists such as Ms Lani, Morissette, Regine, Katrina, Angeline and all the young up-and-coming singers like Gigi De Lana, Elha, Janine and the list goes on…is mind-blowing! What other country besides the US, UK can boast this amount of world-class talent? This is why I am such a fan of Filipino singers and OPM music. I may not understand all the words, but I don’t have to understand to know that Tagalog is a very beautiful language to be sung and listened to. It has a seemless, beautiful melody that is so pleasing to the ears, especially when belted. Whatever it is in your water in the Philippines that makes people sing this good…I would like to have just a sip of that magic water. 😉

Most of the filipino people do have that kind of toxic mind, the best thing to do is to ignore because you won't get stomachache when you ignore them. We are not perfect though. And there will never be a perfect person except for God.

I was crying not for Lani but for the life of the Nanay and Tatay in the video who are differently-abled but they did not choose to surrender in life. They used their talents to earn a living and go on with life. This is a lesson to us who are completely able to utilize our abilities well and not to "tamads" in life. It may sound a little lower than whistle note but it needs so much power and mix of vocal techniques from head and chest that should be registered to the highest possible note that is again a tad lower than whistle but requires more effort.
