use gumboots for waterproof boots and within budget.
Gumboots le Chalauda aftyaro huncha, boru waterproof trekking shoes lauda huncha if not riding shoes.
gumboots are waterproof and that's all they are. They aren't protective and certainly isn't comfortable.

Yes it will be fine. Pack according to your requirement only the needed one for the cold temperature.
