Thank you for sharing your experience. It's important this came from a store. A lot of deck creaters make an app or have it on theur website. I bought a few decks without a guidebook, because the artists were too lazy. Lol they are my friends. I wonder this too, but trying doesn't hurt. I think letting them know is not a bad idea. You could also just use them as wall art or regular playing cards. ❤
Those are some great points and observations ✨️ you're absolutely right about the guidebook part! And then when there is one, sometimes they're sold separately from the deck... there's homework to be done before buying anything online nowadays 😅 thank you for watching and your suggestions on repurposing the cards 💜
Thanks for sharing your experience! So unfortunate that counterfeits are so prevalent. Good idea about contacting the creators and publishers. If you end up leaving an online review of the shop, it would at least warn potential buyers. I think reusing the cards in a journal is a great idea. I feel similarly that the resources were already used, so why not extend their purpose? Perhaps you could also use some as bookmarks, or gift tags??
I love the bookmark and gift tag ideas 💜 I am going through more books this year so it'll be perfect for that! I was also about to go leave the shop a bad review, and you know what? They have pulled off all the decks (pretty sure they were all counterfeits) from their website now 😊

@@magickalmooncat That is good to hear they pulled the decks! Crappy they didn't acknowledge you directly, or at least refund you. 😡
Oh well... guess I'll take it as the price for the lesson... I'm just happy that those listings have been taken down!
