My husband took 2 treatments of Pluvicto. He could not tolerate it anymore. He had every common side effect. Numbering 10 and his PSA started climbing to 300, and the PMSA scan was not at all promising. He now may get radiation therapy, but Dr. is afraid if not careful she could cause a fracture. He has pelvis, sacrum, and femur head mets. and nerve impingement of 2 faucets of L2 and L3 vertebrae. There is some question that he has had spread to the salivary glands and is having swelling and numbness of his face, biting his lip and afraid to chew food. Trying to keep his nutrition up with protein shakes. They are also going to start him on Jetvana. It is a every 3 week infusion x 10 weeks.
It is so devastating to watch him deteriorate daily. He was dx as Stage 4, Gleason 8. May 2021. He is 80 yrs old. We have been married 46 years this May 27. Fortunately, I am able to care for him, and I hope he gets some relief soon. Anyone with experience on Jetvana or Cabazitaxal please share your experience. I pray for relief for all men who have the advanced form of prostate cancer.

God bless you both for providing insightful guidance to patient and caregivers. I have watched all your videos and that has helped me immensely in taking care of my fathers prostate cancer. PC is complex and each patient has their own biology and in this uncertain context, your videos work like a GPS and advance notification system. You help us (caregivers) by reducing anxiety and more importantly make informed decision for our patient. God bless you and wish you a all the very best from the bottom of my heart.

Why can’t you either continue with the Pluvicto or retake another 6 cycles of Pluvicto if relapse occurs.

Appreciate so much all your videos and the information on Prostate cancer. My husband has stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer to bones. He just finished Pluvicto. He is awaiting his follow up PSMA to see how it has helped.
But I his wife had seen the discussion on terminal prostate cancer and Actinium-255 was mentioned. I could not find any information on Actinium-255 but I did find an article on Actinium-225 for prostate cancer. Could the 225 be correct and not the 255 ?? Await your response. Thanks Sandra W

I have had prostrate cancer and have taken 8 85 mg sessions of docetaxel and 32 months of hormonal therapy. Prostrate cancer had spread outside to the nodes. Now totally under control .Psa is .04 for the last 2 years. After 3 years should I continue with the hormonal treatment ( imjections testosterone deprivation therapy).pls advise

Thanks for the excellent information. Our doctors seem to rushed to explain our condition and next treatments.
I was stage 4 at diagnoses and two years later CRPC. Since docetaxel attacks rapidly going cells, would activating the ones still in remission by ADT (wake them up) by using testosterone injections exposes them more effectively to docetaxel treatment?

Question my dad has only tried hormone blockers and chemotherapy. His PSA was 0 for almost 2 years with hormone blockers. Then it stopped working and was put on chemotherapy which he couldn't tolerate. The chemotherapy made him weak so we don't want him on anymore. Is pluvicto or immunotherapy something we can ask the oncologist about?

I curious on men who passed in Dr Sholz practice, what was their gleason score? Did men with 3+3, 3+4 ,4+3 pass away. Men with high gleason score normally have a battle obviously. I guess my question is have Dr Sholz ever see anyone loose their life from pc who had a 3+3 ?
