Looking forward to new videos! Suggestions: culture differences, transportation, lifestyle, food, your experiences with Norwegians... Love the channel and glad you are back... oh, and congratulations! 🙂
That's funny, just a few weeks back I went through my subscriptions and purged uninteresting / inactive channels, saw yours and wondered how things were going (remained subscribed, obviously). Glad to hear things are going well! Congratulations on the kid! Not forcing the internet on him and all that is a great choice.
Yay so glad you’re back. I am also an American living in Norway. Your videos help me get through the sometimes difficult transition here. Thanks for all the good content. Look forward to seeing more in the future. Ha det!
so happy to have you back! I found your videos about a year ago and then came across them again last month and decided to subscribe. I love hearing what you have to say and congratulations on your child!
It's so nice to see you back! Congratulations on the birth of your baby, and the acquisition of the house. Being a Papa is grand! I would love to hear about your Papa experiences, even without photos of the cute one! I think it is interesting to see the differences in childrearing from country to country. It seems that Norway finds the care of children to be very important to the integrity of the country. Lykke til! Hilsen, Gwen
Welcome back! I was wondering what happened just last night, so was a nice surprise to see this, this afternoon! Congratulations on the new house and your son! Also about being promoted/on a permanent job now. I'm sure that makes things less stressful at times. Also love that you have decided to wait until he's older enough to make up his own mind about if he wants to be on the internet or not.
Congratulation on the baby! They sure are little time-eaters, and I really respect you for keeping him "secret". I'm sure it would be harmless, but being able to choose if you want your life online or not is so important and I feel it will be even more important in the future. If you ever get demotivated in the fixing up of the house, I'd recommend the show "Sinnasnekkeren" I think it's on Dplay.no, Your wife might roll her eyes at me for that, but it's one of those love it or hate it tv-shows and I feel I am in the minority that loves it.
Congratulations on everything..I know it’s been 3 years, but I’m glad things have gone well for you and your family. I really find your grammar videos helpful, so many thanks to you!
Yeey!! I was waiting for you to return. Really enjoy the videos!! I find it very interesting as a Norwegian to see how your experience of this beautiful country is!! And congratulations to you and the wife!! 😁
So good to hear an update and congratulations on the addition to your family. What an adventure you and your wife have ahead of you. Glad to hear things are going well. What field of work is your employment in? For future videos, food related experiences: lutefisk, blood sausage, finelar.
If you are quick, there are some free video editing tools in the latest (or the one before) Komputer for alle. If it's not the newest, you can borrow the one before at the library and the code is valid until the end of March
Useful future video idea. "I made $100,000 Krone, this is where my money went." You could just use percentages of your actual to illustrate, you wouldn't be giving up any personal information just illustrating, the math would easily convert to percentages making it understandable. It would be really interesting for someone from the US to understand how much money people keep living in Norway. Takk
I would love to see home improvement things! I just purchased my first home and it's a fixer upper and I need ideas of what to do. Mine was built in 1902!
Ye, sure interessted in watching how you folks improve the house. And you do not need to buy expensive editing software, its usefull for advanced stuff.
Doughnut shop doughnuts! Haha nothing like a freshly made old-fashioned doughnut. Honestly though the more I search the more I find here. It's just a lot of work to get certain things. For instance I am crazy about Frank's red hot sauce, but I've only seen it in one store outside of Oslo. I think it was a Meny
@Michael Hey! I just got back last night. Had some great seafood in Key West, i tried some other donuts unfortunately, they werent that good. but lets talk fastfood oh my god. first of all, taco bell is exactly the type of taco we make at home in Norway so that was a hit. the best burgers were FIVE GUYS and Johnny Rocket. Five Guys was just amazing... Im still drooling. Burger king back home here in Norway can go away for all i care, theres a new king in town. other things that were crazy compared to Norway.... Pharmacies. They were so plentiful, and huge like candystores. Absolutely insane. and the way people dress and behave out on the streets, fun and hilarious. it really was like being in a GTA game :D I loved it, and I have to go back next year haha
Michael I've been to both Ålesund and Trondheim. Both are good places to visit with their own unique qualities. They aren't as city like, as Oslo is, but they are popular areas. I think Ålesund was the more mellow of the two. We were there in the middle of summer so the peek of tourist season and it still had a relaxing atmosphere. That being said, Trondheim wasn't too crazy either.
Hey AMERiNORGE! I hope you are well and sound in our strange country. TH-camr Tyler Walker just made a video commenting your 7 yr old video about Norwegian stereotypes.
I think this was your last video. I am sad. Can I ask, are you married to a Norwegian, and do you still live there? I am hoping I can move back when I retire in 12 years.
Lol this video just popped up in my feed again after 2 years. Maybe because I recently vacationed in tromso and helsinki? Google knows all... I assume you're Norwegian by now especially given Norway allows dual citizenship?
Good on you for deciding to let your kid decide if he wants to be on the internet when he's old enough to make that decision.
And then we didnt hear from him for over a year..
It would be nice to see a video in Norwegian so we can see your progress compared to a few years back. Welcome back btw, nice to see you again.
Nice to see you again! congratulations on the kid :)
Looking forward to new videos! Suggestions: culture differences, transportation, lifestyle, food, your experiences with Norwegians... Love the channel and glad you are back... oh, and congratulations! 🙂
Congrats to you and your wife. Make sure the home is insulated and the electrical in the home updated for all of your tech gear.
Nice to see you are doing good, and congratulations on becoming a dad! :)
Looking forward to new content :D

I didn't know you were gone, because I just found and subscribed to your channel last week. I'm very glad you're back though!

Congratulations on your new home and your little one! Yes seeing how home improvement is done in Norway would be interesting to see.
Glad to see you again! (Honestly speaking, I don't even remember when I saw your video the last time) Congrats on your baby boy!
Congrats on the wonderful changes! Great time to return since I just found your channel today!
Hello AMERiNORGE, are you still here in 2021?
Congratulations!!
Congratulations on your baby.....
I’d love to see a video on hardware stores and lumber yards.
So good to hear an update and congratulations on the addition to your family. What an adventure you and your wife have ahead of you. Glad to hear things are going well. What field of work is your employment in? For future videos, food related experiences: lutefisk, blood sausage, finelar.
I've always felt like you were the perfect person to go to Norway.
Congrats on the extension of your family. Looking forward to new videos.

Good work💼 over the last two years of settling in Norway
Respekterer virkelig den avgjørelsen. Høres ut som du har blitt veldig norsk..! 😎

Congratulations on the addition to your family and on being a home owner in Norway bro

I’d just like to see your life in Norway. Getting your impressions and so forth.
Takk for video og gratulerer for mye for ny født baby gutt👶
Hope all is still well with you and your family! ❤️
Thank you! All is well. Between a growing family and work, there's just not much free time to make any videos.

Thing are great. It's quite the experience learning to be a Pappa. hope things are great for you guys too.
Hva med en ny Q&A er en stund siden sist. Gratulere så masse med barnet foresten
Hi! Are you still living in Norway? 😀
Congratulations :)! If i remember correctly you were living in western Norway two years ago, is your new home also in that part of the country?
We hope you come back again
I know you mentioned your wife and you met each other in LA. But are you from Minnesota? I'm just trying to place your accent.
Nope I'm from California, but it's funny because I've been asked if I was from Minnesota so many times.
I’d love to get an update
kjekt å se deg "aktiv" igjen :)

@Michael it would be really helpful for me as I have been considering moving there and will be in a position to do that in a few years.

I'm visitin the US for the first time next month (miami). what do you recommend i bring back from the US that you miss/cant get in Norge?

I plan to move to Norway and get into sales there. I’m from the USA as well any tips?
Check out UDI.no That's Norway's immigration information site. Also start learning the language it is required, especially if you want to do sales.
