Thank you for your comment. This is not a beautiful restaurant or a beautiful area but I do think that this is a place that everybody should know about. There is no dress code mention, but I think it is expected that you at least wear something other than the best and flip-flops.

That may be the largest spread of food I have ever seen for a single diner 😁. The inner restaurant (and observation floor) sounded, as you said, distractingly noisy. What a cacophony! I believe you said you had no problems during your meal on the outer deck though?
Precisely, that is why I wanted so badly to make this video. There is a distinct difference between the indoor and outdoors dining experience at this restaurant. I would not recommend the indoor venue for most 'of us' :-). But, the outdoor venue was truly something special.

You're welcome. I thought it was necessary to give so much information during this video because I found it quite confusing the first time when I booked at this restaurant. I was a little bit disappointed the first time I was there because I didn't quite understand completely what the layout and dining options were.

Thanks for the nice review / video. I've been looking for an answer to a question but can't find it. There are 2 different floors with a buffet in this building, 81st which you cover here nicely. I see there is also one on the 78th floor. Can you please advise what is the difference? We are looking for the one with the most seafood options and want to make sure we pick the correct one. Salamat
Nobody can blame you for being confused. I myself am quite confused about the various restaurants there because they seem to have names which conflict with different websites. I just know that the restaurant on the 82nd floor above the one where I was is a Chinese Buffet. I am aware of the restaurant on the 78th floor, but I’m not exactly sure about the cuisine. I did check on the Internet. I saw that it’s a girl and seafood restaurant but I’ve never been inside of it so I really cannot confirm that however, I do know this. Besides the skybox, which is the outdoor restaurant, I would not recommend any of these restaurants at this hotel as they really do not look good and it’s very noisy because of the type of clientele which frequents this place. If you want to go to a restaurant in this hotel because of the view or the novelty of the tall building then I would 110% recommend booking a table at the skybox on the 81st floor. Make sure that you are seated outdoors and not indoors. If it is seafood that you want specifically I’ll be happy to recommend a different restaurant at a very different location, but for the best seafood I’ve have ever had in Thailand. Let me know if you want information.

@@patrickflynn2518 the place I have in mind is in Chinatown and there’s absolutely no view but I’m extremely happy that I found this place because since I’ve been there, I have not found a better place with seafood. They don’t have a buffet such but they do have an eat all you can, which is what I had and allowed me to try out so many different things. The problem I find with international and seafood buffets is that it’s all pretty much the same thing. But this restaurant was something very special because it tasted like home-cooked food to me. I'm simply telling you because I honestly believe that this restaurant's food is great.
